Weekend Wrap-up is where I share my new books, as well as what happened here at (un)Conventional Bookworms and elsewhere in the blogoshpere. I’m linking up with the usual suspects, AKA Team Tynga’s Reviews and Caffeinated Reviewer.

STS #324

Stacking The Shelves, hosted by Tynga’s Reviews and Reading Reality is all about the latest additions to my library – virtual or actual, with books that are  bought, borrowed, won or ARCs  I will (probably) be reading soon. Without further ado, here’s what I added to my bloated shelves this past week:

Take a Number cover - (un)Conventional Bookworms - Weekend Wrap-upCode Name Rook cover - (un)Conventional Bookworms - Weekend Wrap-up

Thank you to the authors! Already read and loved Code Name: Rook, and am currently reading Take a Number, which is hilarious and hot so far.

The Sunday Post #254 – Weekend Wrap-up

Kim @ The Caffeinated Reviewer, is our hostess with the mostest for the weekly Sunday Post where I’m wrapping things up. It is the perfect opportunity to share what happened here on my own blog, as well as some of the happenings elsewhere in the Blogosphere.

This week took forever! It was so very slow – I think partly because I had to do a lot of testing for my students, so it was boring to just supervise tests. Now, I have a busy weekend of grading, which is find, especially because the weather sucks. It’s cool, rainy and foggy…

Sorry to hear your week was slow. Ours felt like it dragged too. We had a health scare in the office one day, but all was well on that front thankfully! The puppies look like they’re enjoying their nice slow week! Lol!

Nice new reads too! Those are new to me ones but I hope you enjoy them all!

My StS will be up tomorrow, so stop by then if you can!

    Have a GREAT day!

  2. Linda, sorry to hear it has been pretty dull at work and that the weather has matched that this weekend, but sounds like you’ve been having a cosy time inside and who couldn’t be cheered up by cuddling doggies?! ? My week has been pretty ordinary and miserable weather like you have had, but I have been enjoying escaping into The Firebird by Susanna Kearsley. ? Take care and happy reading in the coming week.?

  3. Hm… weeks that drag tend to be ones without much fun in them. I hope the coming week is a good one, Linda and that the grading doesn’t take too much time. Sorry your weather is being depressing, too!

We are just approaching the cooler weather so I would welcome all the fog! But I am sure supervising would boring for me too! Stay safe!

  5. We are so slow at work and this week took forever too. I am hoping things pick up but I am getting a little nervous. The weather today is suppose to be really rainy so It will be a nice cozy sunday at home.

Have a great week, Linda! Happy Reading! Miss your face lots and lots! oxox

Crappy weather means good inside time. It’s sunny here so I’m heading out for a walk. I did pick up the newest Molly Harper on audiobook and will be starting that on my walk. I hope the week ahead is a good one!

  7. Sorry to hear about your slow week with lots of testing, hopefully your next week of grading is better. here’s it been rainy and windy and cold too. What a cute picture of your doggos!

  8. Aw, sorry to hear about the weather! Hope you have a good weekend in spite of all the grading. Some weeks just dragggg…

Thank you for the kind words on my blog, and for your healing vibes. I really appreciate that!

I’m sorry to read your week has been slow. I hope you’ll be able to have a little down time too this weekend.
Have a great week and happy reading.

  10. I’d love some rain here in California, would finally put out the fires completely. We did have some cooler temps over the weekend which was such a blessing. I can imagine that it would be boring to supervise testing.

Take a Number does look fun and I enjoy stories that make me laugh. I’ll have to check that one out. Happy reading, and have a great week! 🙂

  11. I’m excited to read Take A Number so I’m glad to hear you’re enjoying it so far!
My week was the opposite of yours in that I felt it flew away so quickly… Here’s to a more balanced one for us both this week!
