Weekend Wrap-up #264 – Welcome February

Posted 2 February, 2019 by Linda @ (un)Conventional Bookworms in Memes, Wrap-up Posts / 23 Comments

Weekend Wrap-up is where I share my new books, as well as what happened here at (un)Conventional Bookworms and elsewhere in the blogoshpere. I’m linking up with the usual suspects, AKA Team Tynga’s Reviews and Caffeinated Reviewer.

STS #264

Stacking The Shelves, hosted by Tynga’s Reviews and Reading Reality is all about the latest additions to my library – virtual or actual, with books that are  bought, borrowed, won or ARCs  I will (probably) be reading soon. Without further ado, here’s what I added to my bloated shelves this past week:

Thank you Sourcebooks Casablanca and NetGalley!

The whole Men of Mercy series by Lindsay Cross was free on Amazon this week, so of course, I one-clicked it 🙂

The Sunday Post #204 – Weekend Wrap-up

Kim @ The Caffeinated Reviewer, is our hostess with the mostest for the weekly Sunday Post where I’m wrapping things up. It is the perfect opportunity to share what happened here on my own blog, as well as some of the happenings elsewhere in the Blogosphere.

This week felt so very long! Even if I only had work, and not Uni at the same time. Friday, we got so much snow it’s not even funny – it started out as rain, then it was a mix, then humongous snowflakes for hours. It looks gorgeous outside, but I don’t really want to leave the house now.

Did you get some good books last week? What have you been up to this past week? Thanks for stopping by, I hope you’re enjoying your weekend, and that next week will be filled with awesome!

It’s funny how some weeks can be such a struggle even when they aren’t as busy as others. Looks like Freddy enjoyed all that snow. 🙂
I managed to one click a few this week. Hard to resist the freebies and good sales.

    Have a good weekend, Lexxie!

Wow! Looks like you got some of our weather! It’s been freezing cold with spurts of snow lately! Did Freddy enjoy it? One of our 2 dogs loves it! They’re both Husky mixes but clearly one of them has more Husky than the other! Though we’re getting a break from our snowy cold weather with near 60 degrees today!

Nice new reads too! All new to me ones but I hope you enjoy them all!

My STS will be up tomorrow, so stop by then if you can!

    Have a GREAT day!

    Old Follower 🙂

  3. I hope you enjoy your books. I listened to some of the Men of Mercy series and I’m sorry it was just bad. Have a great week. Anne – Books of My Heart

  4. Oh wow look at Freddy with a dusting of snow! How do the dogs react to it? Do they like it, or not so much? 🙂

It was a long week, but I’m kinda gobsmacked that it’s February now! Wow.

Hope you have an awesome weekend. 🙂

  5. My brother told me it got way below zero where he lives. We got down to freezing but no rain or snow. Stay toasty with those new reads, Lexxie. Looks like Hercules has the right idea too. LOL Freddy must have left puddles. My dog loves the cold. I did get a picture of him once when we actually got a bit of snow.

If only I can grant your wish so that you can stay in and read during these snow-y days. Your dogs are as cute as ever.

  7. I love the cover for Bring Down The Stars. I’ll need to read that one at some point. I feel your pain on the snow. It followed a similar pattern here on Friday and it’s still covered outside although the roads are now finally passable.

  8. I’m guessing the dogs struggle in the snow? I’m just glad ours melted within the day! And yes… there are some weeks that just seem to be a slog, aren’t there? I hope the coming week is an easier one, Lexxie:)

  9. Nice haul, wifey! 😉 I can hardly believe it’s February! That means we’re that much closer to March. Gah! I’ll be there before you know it! 😀 I hope your week goes well and that you’ve gotten some rest so you’re not quite so tired. Has all the snow melted?!?
    {{{big hugs}}}
