Feature and Follow #74 – The Last Book that Made Me Cry

YAY it’s Friday! Gain new followers and make new friends with the Book Blogger Feature and Follow! If this is your first time here, welcome! You are about to make some new friends and gain new followers — but you have to know — the point of this hop is to follow other bloggers also. I follow you, you follow me.The Feature and Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Rachel of Parajunkee’s View and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it’ll allow us to meet more new bloggers!

What sets this Hop apart from others, is that our hosts feature two blogs. Every week they will each showcase a Featured Blogger, from all different genres and areas. Just remember it is required, if you participate, to follow both their featured as well as our lovely hosts as a courtesy. How do you follow someone? Well, if you have a preference, state it in your Feature and follow post. I prefer being followed via e-mail, RSS / Bloglovin’ or Google+; but you can also like my Facebook page, or even follow me on Twitter.

Facade cover - (un)Conventional Bookviews The last book that made me cry was definitely Façade by Nyrae Dawn! It is full of hearbreak and guilt, hardship and insecurities. Beautifully written, I was so taken with the characters it’s almost amazing. What was the last book that made you cry? Please leave me a link to your Feature and Follow post so I can check it out 🙂

Thanks for stopping by today, have a fantastic Friday and a wonderful weekend.

  1. Oh dear, I’m in for it with this one, huh? Well, I don’t really mind crying over a book, so that’s okay. 🙂 Thanks for recommending it, dear.

I hope you have a fantabulous Friday, Lexxie! I’m so glad you have your first week back in school over. It’ll get easier from here. And I’m thrilled that you can have your degree this summer!! That’s fantastic and I KNOW you can do it!!! I’m sure you were glad to get your chicks back in the nest, even though them being gone did make your week a bit less stressful.

I read your comment about Come Home to Me – do you have BNovak’s assistant’s email? I got my copy sent directly to my kindle from her…

Anyway, have a good one, Lexxie! And I’ll see you tomorrow! **BIG HUGS**

    • Hmmm… no I don’t think I have her e-mail… Lucky you! I’m sure Come Home to Me will be awesome!

Yes, my first week back has been hectic, but great! The last class today was so awesome, it’s about how language acquisition in babies/children. And that is just so interesting to me, I got my geek on with the hubby this afternoon. He just looked at me with his eyes glazed over and started talking about the ice-hockey in the Olympics 😀

Yes, Façade is a very sad read, but it as EXCELLENT! I’m sure you’ll love, it Brandee.

Have a fantastic weekend yourself. *BIG HUGS*

      • I’m glad we got that taken care of! 😉

That class really does sound interesting, Lexxie. We may have to chat about it over the weekend. I promise I can stand the geek! 😉 I guffawed over your hubby’s eyes glazing over…I can’t tell you how often that happens around here. LOL

  2. I don’t cry that often when reading a book, I don’t know why, I do get emotional but actually crying doesn’t happen often. The last book which made me emotion was The Problem With Crazy by Lauren McKellar, it was really good, but also a very emotional read. Very realistic.
I think the last book I really cried over was Shadow Kiss (Vampire Academy #3) by Richelle Mead (which I read a few eyars ago I think). I finished that book and started crying. I didn’t pick up the rest of the series until I read some spoilers of book 4 and 5, because I didn’t want to read the rest of the series if a certain event didn’t happen.

    • I cry pretty easily, though, Lola. Both tears of joy and sadness just leak out of my eyes every now and then 🙂 I haven’t read The Problem With Crazy, but I think I know what thing you needed to happen to continue with Vampire Academy!

      Thanks for stopping by 🙂

    • Yes, truly awesome, Lily! I am getting more of her books, too, because I was so completely inside the story in Façade.

Thanks for stopping by, and for the Bloglovin follow.

  3. Since I don’t care for books that make me cry I try to steer clear of them, so I can’t out right think of the last book that made me cry. I can think of the last book that ticked me off but not cry..lol.

    Have a great weekend!! 🙂

    • Well, I guess me loving to cry helps you know what books to stay away from in that respect, then, Stormi 🙂 Have a great weekend, too.

    • *cries* I love to read books that make me cry. It helps get those tears out of my body – and I like to say it’s great when my life is doing so well I have no real need to cry for ‘real’.

      Thanks for stopping by, Braine.

    • Yes, if you enjoy feeling all kinds of emotions when you’re reading, you should definitely try her books, Amanda 🙂

      Thanks for stopping by.
