Narrated by Scott Eastwood and Andi Arndt, a sweeping, second chance romance that weaves mystery, passion, and humor as two present-day lovers search for a love story from the past....

Past loves should stay in the past.

After the way my first love took off for the ends of the earth, the last thing I want is to see him on billboards and bookstore bestseller shelves. Now my boss just handed me the project that could make my career. All I have to do is partner up with the man, the myth, the legend - adventurer Hunter Armstrong.

That's easier said than done, because when we reconnect, I learn Hunter has his own agenda on this project. And it's not to find a treasure in art and antiques. It's me. But what we discover shocks both of us, and we have no choice but to follow the clues....

P.S. It’s Always Been You Part 1 is the first third of a novel by LBlakely and released as an Audible Original. It nicely set up the backstory between Presley and Hunter as well as their present circumstances and what has brought them together again. I love the premise of this story and I’m a sucker for second chance romance. I’m pulling hard for these two even if Hunter did a sound job of breaking Presley’s heart years ago. There’s still crackling chemistry between them and I’m eager to see how things develop as they work in such close proximity. See, Presley is an art historian and Hunter is best described as a thrill seeker. Together they’re working on cataloging the belongings on a deceased adventurer. And while Presley is swooning over an antique xylophone, Hunter is looking for something that will be better for his t.v. show ratings…a rumored buried treasure.

As for the narration, Andi Arndt is perfection as usual. Her pacing and range with voices are everything I’ve come to expect from her. Scott Eastwood is a new-to-me narrator and this may actually be his first foray into audiobook narration. His voice is very pleasing to listen to. Seriously, I could listen to him talk to me all day. But his narration needs a bit more practice and polish. He doesn’t show much range for character voices which made it difficult at times to determine which character was speaking. And his pauses in dialog and prose were sometimes awkward which interrupted the pace and flow. I’m sure these things will improve with practice and I do hope to continue P.S. It’s Always Been You in audio.

treasure hunting! I love a hunting romance. I am glad you like the story even though the narration falls flat

I have listened to an audible original of Blakely’s which was a novella and it was a just a small romantic story. I liked it but didn’t love it because i was too short. So I like the idea of making this one more of serialised book so you get a bigger story told in parts!
