Three hot guitarists. Two people looking for love, but too afraid to admit it. One exhilarating night…

One night of rampant passion with a rock star, that’s all it’s supposed to be. Ginny Walters isn’t looking for love, only some sexy fun with an amazingly hot guy; that is, until she hooks up with Black Halo’s lead guitarist, Ash Gore, on the night the band splits up.

Ginny discovers a side to the womanizing, bad boy that she never imagined. Beneath his hard rock image, is a man so hung up on the possibility of being hurt by love that he’s unwilling to risk becoming emotionally involved. How can she convince him that the bond between them is worth exploring, given that she’s not sure dating a rock star is terribly bright idea?

Ash can’t seem to get Ginny out of his head either. She’s totally unlike the women who fan his ego but leave him unsatisfied. Ginny sees through the media hype to the scarred man beneath. Given that Ginny understands him like no one else, is this a one night stand he won’t be able to leave behind?

*I received a free ARC of All Night Long from Harper Collins via Netgalley in exchange of an honest review*

All Night Long is a scorching hot read, filled with lots of sex between a hard rock star and one of his fans. There are even some scenes where some of the band-mates kind of join in the fun a little bit. There isn’t all that much going on apart from the hot sex, but that’s quite OK, as I totally got that from the summary. Ginny only wants to let loose for one night, and who better than a guy who’s in a band? He’s totally used to groupies, and won’t be looking for anything more than sex – just what she needs, or so she thinks.

Ash is pretty emo for a hard-rock star. he’s not only fretting over the fact that Black Halo might break up, but he’s still so hung up on his broken heart from almost six years ago the groupies hanging around after a show is the only thing he feels capable of. It doesn’t even seem to matter to him that the girls he hooks up with brings him nothing – not even an orgasm most of the time. Ginny somehow is a little different though. And they really to get it on All Night Long; at least until it gets really late and they snuggle and fall asleep together. The

The hot and steamy scenes are well done, though, and I (for once!) managed to not be too shocked when two of Ash’ band mates first watch Ash and Ginny, then join in a little bit. It’s not exactly a three or foursome, though, because their participation is really minor. But All Night Long is definitely an adult read, as there is lots of sex in all kinds of different positions. The story is kind of a groupie-fantasy, I’m sure, because Ginny starts out as just another groupie, but she manages to catch Ash’s attention for more than sex, and there might be a future for them.

The writing is in British English – which made me hear a British accent for the whole time I was reading what Ash was saying 🙂 All Night Long was a quick and fun read, and I will definitely be checking out the next Black Halo story when I’m feeling up for some smexiness.

That left Ash with an empty schedule and a whole night to kill. Not his favourite state to be in, since he detested his own company.

Relationships… ack… He’d tried it once, and couldn’t honestly recommend it. Xane’s current round of melodrama was persuading him never to try it again.

He gave Ginny a significant look. ‘But we need some essentials, and the thing about essentials is that they’re essential.’

The only fun Spook engaged in involved a camera and naughty poses. In her opinion, that took the notion of safe sex way far.

  1. It sounds like an ok erotica, though I’m not sure it’s for me. I do love that you heard the British all the way through – that’s a fun picture! I read a book where a famous actor who doesn’t do serious relationships is suddenly changed by one of his flings and it didn’t work for me, so I have a feeling this wouldn’t either. The steamy scenes almost sound worth giving it a try though!! LOL Great review Lexxie!
