    Oh fun! I can see why this tag caught your eye. Enjoyed the A-Zs and your responses. I think Twilight was a first for me, too. It was the first time I read a YA and realized that adults could read the YA genre and love it, too. And Hush, Hush, leads me to add that not all YA is for me. LOL

    Great tag post, Lexxie!

      Yeah, adults can definitely read and enjoy YA 🙂 But not all of it 😀 Thanks for stopping by, Sophia!

    I always request too many ARCs too, but then I don’t have enough time to read the ARCs! Whoops! I really liked this tag, so I’m going to make my version this weekend. 🙂

      I actually end up reading all the ARCs, but not my own books that I have paid for… Strange how that happens 🙂
      I look forward to seeing your take on the tag this weekend, Anna!

      I thought it was a great tag, even if Jamie used it a very long time ago 🙂 And you should read the Shatter Me series – make sure you take the novellas as well, not ‘just’ the novels! And I’m glad I’m not the only one who requests ALL the ARCs, Karen 😉

    So much to respond to, so I think I’ll say Yes! I agree with most of that!!! Lol. Gah I seriously need to read Michelle Mankin. And more Huss. Where do you find the time?! I think you’re a much faster reader than I am. Oh can I just say I squeeled a bit when I saw you like the Faerie Queen by Edmund Spencer? I love it! I did a senior thesis on it in undergrad. I’d probably be embarrassed by it now, but at the time I was quite proud 🙂 oh and Twilight was pretty significant for me and reading too. I think those books get too much of a bad rap. I know they aren’t the best writing, but I loved them 🙂

    Happy Friday!!! {Hugs}

      The Faerie Queene was one of my favorite compuslory readings, Berls. I just found it to be so interesting and well done – the allegories, the religious undertones, the quests, and the fact that some of the knights were female just made me love it!
      More Huss is a must, as is starting Mankin. I am a fast reader, and I have my kindle with me everywhere. Not five minutes are spent just waiting with nothing to do, Berls 🙂
      Happy Friday to you, too! {{{HUGS}}}

    Oh wifey, we have so much in common! But then I guess we both already knew that. 😉 Agatha Christie – I don’t think I’ve read 57 of her books but I used to read her, as a teen, like she was going out of style. 😉 I just picked up The Alchemist last week at my local used bookstore – the owner commented on what a great pick it was. 🙂 And I must read Nick! Of course, I’ve met him in the Dark Hunters series but I need to read his story. I’m thinking he might be a boy we’d have fought over as teens. 😉 LOL Luckily, since he’s ficticious, we can share. Right?!?
    Happy Friday!! I hope you’re having a fabulous day! **LOVE & BIG HUGS**

      We have a lot in common? Oh my 🙂 I am very happy about those Goodreads shelves that help me keep track of all those books I’ve read – and by which author 🙂 It’s funny that you read her as if her books were the be all end al when you were a teen 😀
      Oh, I can’t wait to see what you’ll think of The Alchemist, Brandee. I find the philosophy and the perspective to be so amazing!
      Of course you have to get to know Nick as a teenager, too. And I hope we’ll never fight over a boy!!
      Happy Friday yourself, wifey! Love and miss you!! {{{BIG HUGS}}}

    Fun tag! That’s a lot of Christie books but the environment sounds great for reading! I’ve heard so much about the Ilona Andrews books. And Shatter Me- I’ve been thinking of reading those. And your Twilight story- nothing cheesy about that, I think anything that gets us into reading (and blogging!) is a good thing.

    Have a great weekend Lexxie!

      I like the garden when it’s nice out – but I think I could read most anywhere. Which is the main reason I always have my kindle with me so no five minutes are wasted.
      In the pool? Aren’t you afraid you’ll fall in? or even worse, your book will fall in??

    Such a fun post, I might swipe this one from you! I feel like Twilight opened a world of YA books for me I was never in a book slump but had been reading mostly chick-lit and thrillers. I was so excited to discover all the YA books that I never knew about.
    And Slammed, I’ll never forget that book. It spoke to me 🙂
    I haven’t read any of your 3 favourite books but I will try to sometime. And your worst bookish habit, I think most book bloggers can empathise with that. I know I can!

      Yeah, that’s exactly it, Trish! I read mostly more serious fiction or romances, so YA and even something paranormal was very new to me. It opened up several new worlds to me!
      Slammed really spoke to me as well. It’s so well done, and the story so completely captivating. I think you’d really enjoy If I Stay, Trish. And the Pilgrimage is very philosophical and about self-discovery and spirituality. The Faerie Queene is written in verse, and it is homage to Queen Elizabeth, and there are knights, quests, moral, ethics – it’s really quite impressive.
      Haha, I know we all want the books first, right?

    Haha, could you imagine if those *were* your shelves?!

    57 books by one author?! I think the most I’ve ever read is 9. I’m just not much of an author person, and all my favorites are new authors and don’t have that many books out.

    I’m so glad to see you pick ebooks! I love them for all the same reasons, plus I can read at night in bed with the lights off 😀 Physical books are nice to have, but for actually reading, I do prefer ebooks.

    Funny you mention Shatter Me, I just got my email notification tonight that the ebook is available for me from my library since I was on the hold list lol. Except I might have too many review copies at the moment, but I do plan to give the book a try soon!

    This is a fun tag. I just might have to do this one!

      I guess if I had grown up later, most of my books would be by newer authors as well, Kristen. I think it is nice that my aunt introduced me to Agatha Christie, because she knew I’d read anything I got my hands on. Plus the mysteries were almost always impossible to figure out – due to characters keeping things to themselves, and the narrator hiding stuff from the reader 😀
      You’re right, reading at night with the lights off is another plus for e-books! I do own quite a bit of physical books, too though. Several of my favorite contemporary authors have their own shelves, and I have signed books on those 🙂
      OOh! I can’t wait to see what you’ll think of Shatter Me!! If you enjoy the first novel, I really think you should read the novellas as well as the rest of the novels – they bring a lot of extra information I think is important when it comes to character growth.

    Oh my goodness, I LOVE this post! I may have to do this tag myself, because it is great! I love that there is such a variety of questions, from personal to bookish! I am soooo guilty of over-ARCing and then not having time for books I bought! I have gotten a wee bit better, but what am I even saying because i just got 6 more eARCs on Friday, AND several pre-orders in the mail ? Also, SIX shelves?! I want to seeeeee! Six shelves is rather impressive! I also LOVE your answer for favorite beverage! I concur, only sub out red for white 😉 Thanks so much for sharing, it was so fun to read!

      Over-ARCing! I love that word!! I have 30 ARCs for books that won’t be released until next year! But I really need to stop this craziness…

    Now this is what I call a long tag but I’m glad you could love it so much! And wow, 57 books by the same author is so many! I have read an Agatha Christie before but only the one – I really want to read more though because I loved it. I’m impressed an author can write that many. And yay for Twilight bringing you back into reading <3 I love that series. Also, e-reader is not often the choice of favourite but I'm glad you love it. I LOVE my kindle too, but I have equal love for my physical copies 😀

      Agatha Christie was my go-to author for quite a while, and I find her mysteries to be genius.
      I love physical copies for my shelves, but for reading, I prefer my kindle, because it’s just so handy!
