Today, I finally have a Thirsty Thursday quote to share with you! It’s been a while since I found a drink-quote I wanted to use, so I was very happy when I read The Japanese Lover by Isabel Allende and found one. I felt a little bad for Seth, because it’s really difficult to keep up when someone else is filling your glass…
My Thirsty Thursday quote:
Irina filled his small ceramic bowl with sake. Alma had told her that in Japan the correct thing to do was to serve the other person first and then wait for someone to serve you.

My favorite combo! I can eat sushi and drink sake everyday! Too bad my podunk town has terrible sushi.

And oh, I can’t wait to see the pictures of Norway! My grandparents grew up in Sweden….sort of next door, right? LOL

Yes, it is practically next door, and my grandmother was Swedish, as was my great-grandmother (not the Swedish grandmother’s mom).
