Ihaven’t tried a lot of music based novels, only one or 2 but I should try more because this one sounds quite well done! Plus it’s great to really have the feelings like that!

Yes, this series is really good, Melliane, and I love that the characters grew up together, it makes for a lot of background knowledge 🙂

Did this use to be a fanfic? I ask because I swear that I’ve read it but the characters had different names. I could be wrong. Glad you liked this!

I don’t think this was fanfic, Lekeisha 🙂 Thanks for stopping by.

This sound pretty good. I love books that involve music and the fact that this book doesn’t shy away from the ugly side of the music industry sparks my interest. Great review!

Yeah, the ugly backside of the industry is definitely a part of the story here, Carole, and the characters are very well done!

This is still my favorite of the Tempest books, Lexxie. I thought Mankin did such an incredible job in portraying the descent into drugs and its effects on the lives of the users and those around them. And I also really fell for Bryan and Lace…their love story broke my heart. I’m glad you found their story so compelling as well. 🙂 **BIG HUGS**

I agree, Brandee, the way she managed to show the ugly side, but also the friendships and the various interactions between the characters is really well done! I think my favorite it Dizzy’s book, though… that one did something to my heart. *BIG HUGS*

I love conflicted relationships. The hope that the right two end up together. And I want to see more of his tattoo! LOL

I’ve read all of the Tempest books already, Braine… This review was written during the blog ahead November 🙂 I agree, War’s story is great, but also heart-breaking.

I’m questioning this one. I’ve yet to read a novel with bands, or musicians that I’ve really liked. Sounds like a decent read but I’m unsure. Thanks for the review!
