Weekend Wrap-up is where I share my new books, as well as what happened here at (un)Conventional Bookworms and elsewhere in the blogoshpere. I’m linking up with the usual suspects, AKA Team Tynga’s Reviews and Caffeinated Reviewer.
STS #302
Stacking The Shelves, hosted by Tynga’s Reviews and Reading Reality is all about the latest additions to my library – virtual or actual, with books that are bought, borrowed, won or ARCs I will (probably) be reading soon. Without further ado, here’s what I added to my bloated shelves this past week:
I’m still going strong with Unearthing a Bookish Bounty – I only got one week last week, and that’s because I had preordered it 🙂
The Sunday Post #242 – Weekend Wrap-up
Kim @ The Caffeinated Reviewer, is our hostess with the mostest for the weekly Sunday Post where I’m wrapping things up. It is the perfect opportunity to share what happened here on my own blog, as well as some of the happenings elsewhere in the Blogosphere.
Sky, Brandee’s oldest, redid all our blog graphics, and I love them all so much! My hair is much longer than it’s been in a long time, and I asked if Sky could change my avatar – she went over and beyond and changed absolutely everything 🙂 Thank you Sky. You are AWESOME.
It was a busy week at work, with class councils where all the teachers had to discuss various students and their grades and attitudes for the first semester. We also had a general meeting for all teachers on Thursday evening – and it was finished off with a nice meal.
This Week’s Puppies in Action:

Gayathri @ ElgeeWrites has a great post on How to Improve Engagement on Reviews.
Did you get some good books last week? What have you been up to this past week? Thanks for stopping by, I hope you’re enjoying your weekend, and that next week will be filled with awesome!
I thought your graphic image looked new! The tweaks are very nice!
Nice new read too! Totally new to me one but I hope you enjoy it!
My StS will be up tomorrow, so stop by then if you can!
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower 🙂
Thanks Jessica 🙂 I think Sky did a fantastic job for us.
I’m pretty sure I’m going to enjoy my new book – Vi Keeland is the bomb.
The graphics look great! It sounds like you had a busy week, but at least it ended on a high note. I hope you have a great week!
They do, don’t they?
Thanks, you too, Aj!
I was like wait something changed with the graphics. I knew it! It all looks great 😀
Thanks Stephanie! I love it, it feels like the whole blog is lighter.
I knew something was different when I landed here. I didn’t realize Brandee’s oldest did your graphics. They are awesome! I haven’t read anything from Keeland in a while. Her books are usually pretty fun and schmexy.
I appropriate sounds good! I think I’ll be reading another romance soon. Right now it’s the second in a science fiction series I am coming to love. Like your other commenters, I love the new look. Sky did a great job! I hope you have a wonderful week!
What science fiction is that? I love some good sci-fi every now and then.
Thanks for stopping by!
I am reading Stars Beyond by S.K. Dunstall.
She’s really good, isn’t she?
I love Keeland for exactly the reasons you mentioned, Sam. Fun and schmexy indeed.
I do love your new graphics….and your puppies always cheer me up. I like when we can see your bookshelves in the background.
Enjoy your new book and your new week.
Thanks Laurel-Rain! The puppies were in the perfect spot to also get my books this week 🙂
The new graphics looks great! I’m glad you got the change done. Hope you have a great week ahead 🙂

Thank you Sumedha! Have a great week yourself.
nice update on the Avatar! I haven’t been updating my blog as much because i’m getting a little slack
Thanks Ailyn 🙂
The new graphics look good!
Inappropriate sounds like a good one. I’m looking forward to reading that at some point. I hope you enjoy it!
Thanks Nicci!
I can’t wait to read Inappropriate. These days, I’m reading all the hidden gems on my kindle for our Unearthing a Bookish Bounty, though 🙂
The new graphics look fabulous:). What a lovely way to brighten up a dreary time of year! I hope the coming week is a good one, Linda.
I agree – Sky’s very talented.

My first thought when I started reading your post was that Sky had updated your Pic! Love everything ?
Sounds like a busy work week, but also a productive one (I hope). Were the kids off this week then? And are they back next week?
Hope you have a great week. Miss you!! {{Hugs}}
Thanks Berls <3
The kids were not off this week - we have another week before winter break. Time sure does fly.
I miss you, too!! {{{BIG HUGS}}}
The graphics look nice! And it’s been dreary here too- although it usually is in January. Ugh- I’m ready for some sun!
Hope you have a great week!
Thanks, Greg! Yeah, I’m not exactly surprised with the weather. We have been quite spoiled in January up until now, though, with crisp coolness and blue skies.
Love the new look!
Wishing you a great reading week
I was just looking at the graphics thinking “is her hair longer in this or has it always been like that?”! I’m so jealous of people who can do graphics. I am so terrible at that kind of stuff.
Have a great week!
Those blog graphics looks great. I was wondering if something changed when I saw your graphic LOL!
Have a great week and happy reading.
That’s awesome she does your graphics. You’re so busy. I think it is wonderful to be reading books you own. I hope you have a great week and get to read some of your books!
