Weekend Wrap-up #300 – Holiday!

Posted 22 December, 2019 by Linda @ (un)Conventional Bookworms in Memes, Wrap-up Posts / 22 Comments

Weekend Wrap-up is where I share my new books, as well as what happened here at (un)Conventional Bookworms and elsewhere in the blogoshpere. I’m linking up with the usual suspects, AKA Team Tynga’s Reviews and Caffeinated Reviewer.

STS #

Stacking The Shelves, hosted by Tynga’s Reviews and Reading Reality is all about the latest additions to my library – virtual or actual, with books that are  bought, borrowed, won or ARCs  I will (probably) be reading soon. Without further ado, here’s what I added to my bloated shelves this past week:

The Duke's Desire cover - (un)Conventional Bookworms - Weekend Wrap-up

I got the books above from my COYER Secret Santa, and I feel so very lucky! They had all been on my wishlist for so long! Thank you so much, Secret Santa 🙂

I won What if it’s Us from Shannon @ It Starts at Midnight, and the book arrived last week. Thank you Shannon!

The Sunday Post #240 – Weekend Wrap-up

Kim @ The Caffeinated Reviewer, is our hostess with the mostest for the weekly Sunday Post where I’m wrapping things up. It is the perfect opportunity to share what happened here on my own blog, as well as some of the happenings elsewhere in the Blogosphere.

It was another hectic week – but hey, now I have two weeks off! It’s so nice to know that I won’t have to do all that much for the coming weeks. And my son who’s in Norway for the whole school-year came home yesterday to celebrate Christmas with us, so I have all of my ducklings in a line again, too.

Merry Christmas to all who celebrate, and happy Holidays to everybody who celebrates something else. Enjoy the season, stay safe, and have a wonderful time!

This Week’s Puppies in Action:

Hercules and Freddy got their Christmas presents a little early – they love their new blankets. And they were too cute for words! <3

That sounds perfect Linda. I hope you’ll have a great time with your family. Say hi to those beautiful Swiss mountains for me?! 😉
    Merry Christmas and happy reading!

  2. More like puppies inaction. They look so cosy. I’m jealous. How wonderful to have all your children home and to be off from work. That’s a nice way to spend the holidays. I like Roehrig’s books, and thought he blended the romance, coming out, and mystery well in that book. Hope you enjoy them all

  3. The puppies look so comfy cozy and Hercules looks like he’s gonna fall off the couch he’s so comfy.
That secret santa person must totally think you are awesome! 😉 Enjoy your new books! xxx

Have a very Merry Christmas, Love to you and the family! Happy Reading! xxx

    • Yeah, Hercules often lies in a perilous position on the couch, I have no idea why.
Hum… Do you have an idea as to who the Secret Santa person might be?? I can’t wait to dig in, to be honest.
Merry Christmas to you, Scot and the kids, too, Michelle! Love and hugs.

  5. Glad your family are all gathering together for the Christmas festivities and I hope you have a wonderful time together – and manage to put your feet up at some stage during your two week break:). Happy Christmas, Linda.

  6. It sounds wonderful that you will celebrate Christmas with your family. Don´t know if you will have snow, but I wish you and your family Merry Christmas.
