Weekend Wrap-up is where I share my new books, as well as what happened here at (un)Conventional Bookworms and elsewhere in the blogoshpere. I’m linking up with the usual suspects, AKA Team Tynga’s Reviews and Caffeinated Reviewer.

The Sunday Post #214 – Weekend Wrap-up

Kim @ The Caffeinated Reviewer, is our hostess with the mostest for the weekly Sunday Post where I’m wrapping things up. It is the perfect opportunity to share what happened here on my own blog, as well as some of the happenings elsewhere in the Blogosphere.

Spring break is finally here! Last day of school before the break was on Wednesday, and on Thursday, we left for Spain. It took longer than usual to get here, as there was a gas leak near the highway, and we were at a full stop for over an hour… All my kids are here at least for a few days, and that just feels so good. It’s also very, very nice to have some time off, even if I have some articles to read and a paper to write. Not having to get up in the morning to leave the house feels like heaven.

This Week’s Puppies in Action:

Freddy - (un)Conventional Bookworms - Weekend Wrap-up
Freddy has found a new place to hang out… under the table, on the little shelf there 😀
Hercules - (un)Conventional Bookworms - Weekend Wrap-up
Hercules needs a nap… longer walks than usual in Spain make it so!

Genesis, formerly of Latte Night Reviews is back! You should check out her new blog Whispering Chapters.

Did you get some good books last week? What have you been up to this past week? Thanks for stopping by, I hope you’re enjoying your weekend, and that next week will be filled with awesome!

  1. Yay for spring break! Enjoy your time in Spain- sounds fun! And I hope Herc gets lots of nap time in to make up for those longer walks haha!

    • I did! I love them – their books just keep getting better with each new one they write!
I know – Freddy is an adult – which is so strange 🙂 And Hercules is much bigger than him, but he still does whatever Freddy wants him to do 😀

OOh nice! These are all new to me reads! I hope you enjoy each and every one of them!

And yay for a break! I decided to take yesterday off and hang out with my family since my aunt was in town and oh my goodness I didn’t realize how desperately I needed that day off! Now I just need to plan an actual vacation and I feel like I will be set, but so far I just have a day here and there planned and possibly a long weekend. Nothing truly substantial and I need to fix that! Lol.

    Happy Reading!

My STS will be up tomorrow, so stop by then if you can!

    Have a GREAT day!

    Old Follower 🙂

    • It’s always nice to have a day off – it’s important to be able to do something else than working, right?
Have you thought of coming to Book Bonanza in August in Dallas? I’m going, and so are several other bloggers 😉
      Have a great week!

That is so wonderful that the whole family can be together for spring break. Hopefully your article and paper will be a snap to finish. Cute Freddy hiding under the table. Don’t blame Hercules for needing a nap after exercise. 🙂
Hopefully your new books in the haul will be great.

    Have a great week, Lexxie!

  4. I hope you have a relaxing and leisurely spring break, and get to enjoy your quality time with your kids! It looks like you got a lot of awesome books this week! How fun! I love Christina Lauren, and Karina Halle!

  5. I hope you have a relaxing spring break, and get to enjoy quality time with your family. You got a lot of goods books this week! How exciting! I love Christina Lauren and Karina Hale. I’ve been wanting to try out author Emma Scott as well. Happy Reading!!

  6. I hope you having a fantastic spring break and that Spain is treating you well. Oooh, you have the new CLo. Fingers crossed it’s as good as the last few have been. Full Tilt = soo many tears. Enjoy!

    • Spain is great, even if the weather is cool and overcast. Just being by the sea makes me feel energized 🙂
I love CLo, and I can’t wait to read this one.
Emma Scott always makes me cry – and I look forward to another good one from her.

  7. It sounds like an amazing break to me. My niece is in Spain right now and her birthday was yesterday. I am excited to see you have a Christina Lauren title – I’ll have to look that up. The audible Daily Deal today was Full Tilt … by Neal Shustermann a YA dystopia, but I kept seeing the Emma Scott one at the library when I looked to see if they had Neal’s book. lol

    Here is my Sunday Post

    • I bet she had a nice birthday, then, Anne!
I’m very excited to already have it 🙂 Thank goodness for being automatically approved for all Gallery Books titles on Edelweiss 😀
Funny how similar book titles can be for completely different genres!

I hope you fully enjoy all your spring break! There’s nothing better than some time to just relax with nothing pressing to do. Plus you deserve it! Enjoy your new reads!

  9. Beware Of The Reader

Enjoy Spring Break Lexxie! And I am so happy you got Full Tilt and All In! Emma is one of my favorite authors!

  10. Gayathri Lakshminarayanan

Happy Easter and enjoy your spring break with your family. I have read another book by Karina Halle and I am intrigued this one.

  11. Olivia-Savannah

Everyone seems to be loving Christina Lauren’s books lately and I think I need to try something by them soon as I can get in on the hype too. Enjoy your time in Spain x
