(un)Conventionally Backwards – 2017 Favorite Travels Part 2

Posted 27 December, 2017 by Linda @ (un)Conventional Bookworms in Wrap-up Posts / 5 Comments

Here’s my second Favorite Travels post about a trip I took to a place where not only I got to discover a new city, but I got to spend some of my time with authors and other readers / bloggers.

2017 Favorite Travels

In June, Mr. Lex and I went to Berlin for a long weekend, and not only was it my first time in Berlin, the RARE family had an event there that I had my ticket for. Mr. Lex and I spent a lot of time walking everywhere on the Friday, and on the Saturday, after breakfast, I went to the convention.

Here, Mr. Lex and I are in front of Brandenburg Tor in the center of Berlin. There are so many historical places to visit, and we had a great time.

Molly Harper - (un)Conventional Bookviews - Favorite Travels

I met the fabulous Molly Harper in Berlin, and of course, I had some books with me for her to sign;)

I’ve been very lucky with my trips this year, just look at some of the other authors I met during my Favorite Travels part 2:

Karina Halle - (un)Conventional Bookviews - Favorite Travels

Karina Halle is always a lot of fun to hang out with, and I was really happy to see her in Berlin!

Jana Aston - (un)Conventional Bookviews - Favorite Travels

Jana Aston is one of my favorite RomCom authors, so seeing her in Berlin was awesome!

Scarlett Cole - (un)Conventional Bookviews - Favorite Travels

Scarlett Cole has become a new favorite author for me, and meeting her in person was great.

Anne Eliot - (un)Conventional Bookviews - Favorite Travels

I first met Anne Eliot in Atlanta at RT, you can read more about that Favorite Travel in my first post. She’s the one who brought us to the hotel connected to ours, where we took the Hunger Games elevators up to the top. After meeting her, of course I wanted to read her books, and her YA stories are so good!

Christina Lauren - (un)Conventional Bookviews - Favorite Travels

Writing duo Christina Lauren were so gracious with all their fans! They had a nice word for everyone, and were totally up to taking several photos to get a good one ๐Ÿ˜‰

I have more Berlin pictures, but I think I’ve shared enough for now. Come back tomorrow for my last Favorite Travels post.

I would love to meet Christina Lauren one day. Molly Harper is a hoot! I finally listened to Karina Halle books this year. I really enjoyed her writing.

I hope one day I will get to go to some more book cons and we get to meet.
