Top Ten Tuesday #20 – Top Ten Sequels I Need

This week on Top Ten Tuesday is about the Top Ten Sequels we are looking foreward to the most. And wow, there are still quite a few – and I hope it’s OK to not only talk about 2nd books in series… because I’m truly looking forward to the next story in several of my favorite series! Some of my sequels don’t even have covers yet, but I still want them, and I want them now!

Top Ten Tuesdays is a fun meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, where we share our excitement for books, and I really like how this meme makes me think about the books I read, why I read them, and who to recommend my favorite reads to. So, here we go, as usual, my list is in no particular order :

Up from the Grave - (un)Conventional Bookviews Up from the Grave (Night Huntress #7) – Jeaniene Frost. Because I can’t wait to read more about Cat and Bones and all their yumminess, as well as the big mystery they’re trying to solve.

Daylighters - (un)Conventional BookviewsDaylighters (Morganville Vampires #15)  by Rachel Caine. I both want this, and then I kind of don’t either. This will be the last book in the Morganville series.

Illusion - (un)Conventional BookviewsIllusion (Chronicles of Nick #5) by Sherrilyn Kenyon. I am very curious as to where this series will go next, and I’m a huge fan of Nick, so I hope I’ll enjoy it.

The Undead Pool - (un)Conventional BookviewsThe Undead Pool (The Hollows #12) by Kim Harrison. I only discovered this series this past summer, and I read the first eleven books, plus an anthology within just a month. Needless to say, I love Rachel and her merry band of sidekicks!

The King - (un)Conventional BookviewsThe King (The Black Dagger Brotherhood #12) by J. R. Ward. Yeah, I want me some Wrath!

The Fiery Heart - (un)Conventional BookviewsThe Fiery Heart (Bloodlines #4) by Richelle Mead. Adrian, oh Adrian. What will you try next?

The Hidden Rune of Iron (Spellcrackers.com #5) By Suzanne McLeod. I can’t wait to read more about Ginny, especially because of the way book four ended!

The 6th book in Stacia Kane’s Downside Ghost series doesn’t have a title yet. But I want to read it right now anyway. I can’t wait to read more about Chess and Terrible.

Written in my own Heart's Blood - (un)Conventional BookviewsWritten in my own Heart’s Blood (Outlander #8) by Diana Gabaldon. I don’t think Jamie and Claire need an introduction. There is time-travel, romance and history galore!

And, last, but not least: Skin Games (Dresden Files #15) by Jim Butcher. Yeah, Harry was in a pretty bad place in the last book, and I need to see how he’ll get out of it this time.

Thanks for stopping by today, have a terrific Tuesday, and happy reading.

  1. Don’t be embarrassed, Chrissi! I’m sure you have read books I haven’t read in series I haven’t heard of 🙂

    Thanks for stopping by.

    • Yes, we definitely have similar taste, so it’s no wonder our lists are similar as well, Traci:)

      Thanks for stopping by.

    • Outlander is such a huge series, though, those books are enormous. But I do love them. The Spellcrackers series is awesome, and it happens in London, which is a plus for me 😀

My day has been awesome, thanks. I hope yours has been as well. *hugs*

    • I know, I both love and hate TTT for that very reason. I always end up adding ever more books to my enormous TBR 🙂

      Thanks for stopping by Doris.

    • Eh, there are just so many series, and so many books that it is impossible to read them all.

Thanks for stopping by Megan 🙂

    • UF is a must in my book-world. But I read pretty much anything non-fiction, I love immersing myself in a new and different world, with creatures that (hopefully) don’t exist for real 😀

      Thanks for stopping by Jeann.

  2. Ellie

Those are some great choices! I haven’t read any of those but have been seeing Feary Heart a lot.
Thanks for stopping by my post! 🙂
