Thirsty Thursday and Hungry Hearts #109
Welcome to Thirsty Thursday and Hungry Hearts, an original weekly meme hosted here at (un)Conventional Bookviews. So many of the books I read have food or drinks in them, some I’d love to try, and others I’d never ever want to taste… and I thought it could be interesting and fun to share some food and / or drink quotes… If you want to participate, you can grab my logo if you’d like, or you can make your own, but please link back to me in your own post.
The idea of Thirsty Thursday and Hungry Hearts is to share a quote with food or drinks that showed up in a recent read, as well as if it’s something you think you’d like or not. Please share the title of the book it happened in, as well as the character who ate or drank the special little something you discovered between the pages of a good read. Please link up beneath, and visit other bloggers who are participating in Thirsty Thursday and Hungry Hearts as well.
This week’s Hungry Hearts quote is from Jordan Reclaimed – and there were several that I could have chosen here, as there were more than one that made my mouth water 😉
My Hungry Hearts quote:
“I can hardly make my mind up,” Lexi said, looking at the menu. She pursed her lips as she studied the choices.
“Why don’t we just let the chef choose? Is there anything you don’t like?”
Lexi smiled and closed her menu. “Oh, I like that. I hate urchin. And olives… they’re the devil’s food. And the center parts of tomatoes. You know, the green core things.”
Her list was as unpredictable as she was, and he found himself even more intrigued. He asked the server to ask the chef to choose a handful of dishes, explaining Lexi’s dislikes and adding his own. Raw shit, and fish that still had its head on.
Thanks for stopping by today, I look forward to reading your Thirsty Thursday and Hungry Hearts quote. Have a terrific Thursday and don’t forget to link up.
Looks like I have some of the same food dislikes as she has. 😛

hard to go on diet on Thursdays with your post around. I happen to like raw fish with its head still on
LOL This made me laugh! And you know I’m on board with Lexi and her dislikes. You have me wondering what she was served though. 😉
Happy Thursday, wifey!! LOVE & {{{BIG HUGS}}}
Ok…so no fish with heads or olives. Somewhat comical 🙂
