The idea of Thirsty Thursday and Hungry Hearts is to share a quote with food or drinks that showed up in a recent read, as well as if it’s something you think you’d like or not. Please share the title of the book it happened in, as well as the character who ate or drank the special little something you discovered between the pages of a good read. I’m sorry you lost your post, Lexxie. That’s upsetting. I didn’t lose mine but I didn’t get it finished in time. I feel like I’ve been running non-stop the last few days and I was so tired last night. I was nodding off at 8! I hope you enjoyed your get-away. I can’t wait to hear all about it. Oh, well 🙂 I’m going to be more careful with next week’s post… I haven’t found that many food or drink quotes in my last reads, though. *BIG HUGS*
I’ve had the same problem. Hopefully next week will go more smoothly for us both on this front. 🙂
I’m a sucker for novels that focus on food critics or chefs, but alas, I can remember not one quote! This is a really great idea and sorry you lost the quote. I can tell you’ve had a busy week! Hang in there and love this post! Hugs…Ro
I started noticing food and drink quotes a while back, and I often highlighted them to keep for quotes in my reviews. Then I thought it might be fun to create a meme where food and drinks in books were put in the center 🙂
