When Life’s Kicking Your Butt, How About a Theme Song? Blogger’s Choice
The theme song meme is hosted by Robyn over @ Robgirl Books, and I’ve been following Robyn as well as Jaclyn and Brandee and the music they’re sharing every month. It really looks like fun, and since I love music almost as much as I love books, I figured I might as well participate too, right?
For April the song is blogger’s choice… and man, that did not make things easier for me. At all! I picked one of my most favorite songs, it’s Life is Wonderful by Jason Mraz. I love the lyrics, but also the melody. The fact that we are so small in this big universe, but that we are all still necessary is what I take away from it. And both if I’m feeling a little down, or if I’m happy, this song always touches my heart.

What a neat theme to a post! I would probably find it difficult to narrow it down to one song choice too! Jason Mraz is so incredibly talented; not only at playing the guitar, but at writing. His lyrics are always so gripping.
It is definitely a great theme, Clauda, I’m alway happy to discover new music this way as well 🙂 Jason Mraz is one of the artists I would love to see in concert! But so far, he hasn’t had one anywhere close to where I live.

So, you know how I said it was snowing? We have over a foot and the school district closed our schools today. I’m thrilled about this even though the kids will have to go to school a day longer to make it up. Sky is worn out so I’m glad she’ll get to sleep in. And I wasn’t looking forward to driving down”hill” to get them to school. Happy Friday!! **BIG HUGS**

I’m so happy I don’t live in Colorado right now, Brandee, even if pollen makes me suffer these days, it’s nice and warm out here. Good thing that Sky can sleep in and get some more strength back, even if that means they’ll have an extra day of school just before summer starts.
