The Sunday Post #51 – Weekly Wrap-up

Welcome to my Sunday Post. Thank you to Kimba over at The Caffeinated Reviewer, who is hosting this weekly event. It is the perfect opportunity to share what happened here on my own blog, as well as some of the happenings elsewhere in the Blogosphere.

This was my first full week of classes for the fall semester, and I’m exhausted! It’s always hard to get back into the rhythm of studying after several months off. My classes are really interesting, though, so I know the semester will be good, albeit filled with a lot of hard work!

Tomorrow, child #2 (my oldest son) is 18! And yesterday evening, we had dinner with his god-father, as well as the family, and we had such a good time. He was happy to spend some time with all of us, especially since he’s usually so very busy both with school and ice-hockey.

Faye @ The Social Potato has a great comic-strip post about Writing Positive Reviews.

What have you been up to this past week? Don’t forget to leave me a link so I can come visit your Sunday Post as well.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you’ve enjoyed your weekend, and that next week will be filled with awesome!

  1. Happy Birthday to your son 🙂 My boy turned 17 in may, and I can´t believe how time flies. I was just 17!! 😉 Nå har høsten satt inn her nord, og det er ordentlige ruskeværsdager. Lengter tilbake til varme sommerdager, men mørke kvelder, telys, pledd og bok er ikke så verst det heller. God søndag til deg og dine <3

  2. Nice to be able to spend time with your son and extended family members. Like Steph I always think of you as being in your 20s/30s, so you must have been a child bride! HAHA It’s hard as they get older and want to do more with friends than family, so it’s great you have your own things like school. Best of luck this semester.

  4. I still remember that feeling, the first few weeks back to studying after a while off are always the hardest. I am glad to hear your classses sounds interesting, that hopefully makes it a bit easier to fall back into the studying rhythm. Congrats on child #2 being 18! Sounds like you had a fun dinner. I hope you have a great week!

  5. It’s so nice meeting another mommy blogger! Even though your children are way older than my little one, (my little monster is 3, and don’t they grow so damn fast) it’s nice to have something in common other than books! I haven’t been to your blog in FOREVER, so I’ll be be, you know, stalking some of your posts now lol.
