The Sunday Post #22 – Weekly Wrap-up
Welcome to my weekly wrap-up post. Thank you to Kimba over at The Caffeinated Reviewer, who is hosting this weekly event. It is the perfect opportunity to share what happened here on my own blog, as well as some of the happenings elsewhere in the Blogosphere.
Today, my youngest son (child number 3) is turning 13! So there will now be yet another teenager in the house from now on. It feels so strange to have three of my children being so big, independent and becoming more mature each year! We will start the day with breakfast in bed – he’s asked for waffles with maple syrup and a hot chocolate, and he’ll get his presents in bed as well. Afterwards, if the weather permits, we’ll find something fun to do outside all together as a family 🙂

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you’ve enjoyed your weekend, and that next week will be filled with awesome!
Congratulations! Time flies so quickly. I realized the other day – when posting a meme about friendships of 7 years lasting a lifetime – that it has been 7 years since I met a whole group of wonderful women on TTS and GUSIALI. Who knew one little saga could be so powerful in so many ways. 🙂 <3
OMG Xyra! hast it already been 7 years? I feel like it was yesterday when I was searching for like-minded women who were devastated after reading the Twilight saga! I’m still so very happy I found you all! 🙂
Thanks for linking to these awesome blog posts! My feed gets so bogged up, and I’m not able to check regularly. These seem awesome. Thanks Lexxie! Happy birthday to your new teen 🙂
I’m so happy I helped you find some interesting blog-posts this week, Goldie! I know what you mean, my feed doesn’t get checked often enough for me to find all the gems I could have found, either…
Have a fantastic week!

Aww happy birthday to your youngest! It just goes so fast, doesn’t it? I have to say he has great taste and I want his breakfast in bed! Have fun today 🙂
Thanks Berls! Actually, he’s only the youngest of the boys… one of my girls is younger, still 😉
He definitely had a great wish for his b-day breakfast! We all enjoyed it 😉
They grow up so fast ! My daughters will be 14 and 12 in a few months, they were babies yesterday ! I hope the weather will be good on you and you’ll be able to enjoy the sun outside – sending you some sunrays, there are plenty of them here 😉 Have fun and enjoy your day !
They do grow up really fast! And this year is the year of big birthdays for all my kids… my youngest daughter will be 10 in July, and my oldest will be turning 20! And my oldest son will be 18 in the fall. We will have many good excuses to party 😉

Happy birthday to your youngest 🙂 Have a great reading week.
Thanks for the links to the posts on blogging — they all sound great. I often follow this kind of a link.
Wow, I do remember those times when I had teens in the house….and it was a challenging time, but fun, too. Now I have teen grandchildren! All of them except the youngest, who is twelve. And the two oldest grandkids will turn 20 in June!
Enjoy…and those waffles sound good.

Happy Birthday to your son! Waffles sound delicious, no one ever makes me breakfast in bed 🙁 Maybe I can work on my family for mother’s day!
Have a great day! and Happy Reading!
Happy 13th to your son. It was such a big day for my son. The next big one was when he turned 20 and I could no longer call him a teenager! Your house must be bursting with energy. LOL
Ahh birthdays are always exciting (and a great way to eat tons of cake!) Happy birthday you to your son Lexxie! I hope he enjoys his special day :)xx
Kids grow so fast, don’t they? My oldest turns 12 at the end of this month and I still cannot believe how fast the time has gone. Before I know it he will be driving (this thought makes me cringe just thinking it. LOL!). It would be nice if it slowed down just a little….but have a wonderful day with your family. And I hope that you have a great week of reading as well 🙂
Wow, three teenagers! good luck with that. LOL I hope you all had/have a wonderful day though.

Oh lord welcome to the wonderful world of a house full of teens..LOL Somehow we survived, but I think those years were responsible for most of my grey hairs. Have a wonderful family day:)
Happy Birthday to your son! Hope you have a great week!
It is quite something for our kids to be getting so grown up, Lexxie. I’ll have 3 teens as well when Jax turns 13 in September. Gah! I guess it happens whether we’re ready or not. 🙂 I hope he enjoyed his breakfast and that the weather permitted a wonderful family outing! I also hope you had some time to ‘recharge’ this past weekend. I am tired just thinking of all you’re doing! 😉 Happy Monday! **BIG HUGS**
Happy birthday to your son! 😀
