STS #138 – Bought Borrowed & Bagged #88
Stacking The Shelves, hosted by Tynga’s Reviews is all about the latest additions to your library – virtual or actual, with books that are bought, borrowed, won or ARCs you will be reading soon. Bought Borrowed and Bagged is a homage to to Barron’s Books and Baubles from KMM’ Fever series, and is hosted by Braine over at Talk Supe. Without further ado, here’s what I bought, borrowed or bagged this past week:
One Was Lost by Natalie D. Richards – thank you Sourcebooks Fire!
Damaged. Deceptive. Dangerous. Darling. Are they labels or a warning? The answer could cost Sera everything.
Murder, justice, and revenge were so not a part of the plan when Sera set out on her senior camping trip. After all, hiking through the woods is supposed to be safe and uneventful.
Then one morning the group wakes up groggy, confused, and with words scrawled on their wrists: Damaged. Deceptive. Dangerous. Darling. Their supplies? Destroyed. Half their group? Gone. Their chaperone? Unconscious. Worst of all, they find four dolls acting out a murder—dolls dressed just like them.
Suddenly it’s clear; they’re being hunted. And with the only positive word on her wrist, Sera falls under suspicion…
Mr. Romantic (Mister #2) by J.A. Huss
Charm is the key to the world.
Charisma, magnetism, sex appeal—that ‘it’ factor that can’t be described.
Nolan Delany has it is spades.
The infamous Mr. Romantic.
And maybe he is out of my league… But I’m going to give it the old college try anyway. Because I didn’t travel two thousand miles for a job interview at his request just to be put out like trash.
Don’t underestimate me, Mr. Delaney.
I’m really not as innocent as I look.
Allegiance of Honor (Psy-Changeling #15) by Nalini Singh
The Psy-Changeling world has undergone a staggering transformation and now stands at a crossroads. The Trinity Accord promises a new era of cooperation between disparate races and groups. It is a beacon of hope held together by many hands: Old enemies. New allies. Wary loners.
But a century of distrust and suspicion can’t be so easily forgotten and threatens to shatter Trinity from within at any moment. As rival members vie for dominance, chaos and evil gather in the shadows and a kidnapped woman’s cry for help washes up in San Francisco, while the Consortium turns its murderous gaze toward a child who is the embodiment of change, of love, of piercing hope: A child who is both Psy…and changeling.
To find the lost, protect the vulnerable—and save Trinity—no one can stand alone. This is a time of loyalty across divisions, of bonds woven into the heart and the soul, of heroes known and unknown standing back to back and holding the line. But is an allegiance of honor even possible with traitors lurking in their midst?
Media (Social Media #4-6) by J.A. Huss
Vaughn finally realizes Grace is much more than a submissive he can control. He wants more. More of everything. More nights together, more mornings together, more years together. They connect in a way he never imagined. He wants the happily ever after and he wants it with Grace.
But everyone has a past, and Grace and Vaughn are about to come face to face with people they thought they left behind. Real life collides with fantasy and only facing the truth will get them through.
Is Vaughn really a hero? Or does he just play one on TV?
And does Grace really need saving? Or is she stronger than she thought?

That cover is gorgeous, Vi! And so is the story so far 🙂 Have a great weekend!
Ooh nice! Seeing One was Lost a lot today! Just now taking the time to read what it’s about I find I’m very intrigued! So many of my thriller reads tend to be YA, so weird! Also weird that I can be picky about the ones I read too! LOL! This one sounds awesome though! Hope you enjoy them all!
My STS will be up tomorrow, so be sure to stop by then if you can!
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower 🙂
I guess I wasn’t the only one who got an e-mail from Sourcebooks this week, Jessica 😀 Thanks for stopping by, ‘see’ you tomorrow 😀
Oh man, One Was Lost looks so scary! I think I might have nightmares if I read it, but it does look good. Have fun reading it.
If it manages to actually give me nightmares, I’ll probably be happy, Ardis. That means a huge impact from a story, right? 😀
I own several Huss books and haven’t read any of them o.O But Mr. Romantic sounds pretty darn good!!! He asked her to come for the interview? Hmmmm… I wonder if there’s a pre-order discount?? I’m checking! Great books this week!!
Oh Kristin, you need to read those Huss books! I’m sure you’ll become a hussie before you know it :p
One Was Lost looks amazing. I hope you enjoy these books 🙂

Everyone has been reading Allegiance of Honor recently, and I hate that I’m so behind on the series. I hope you enjoy all of these, and have a great weekend!
Oh I’m actually a bit jealous of those who are behind with the Psy-Changeling series, Lekeisha… you can binge-read!!
I’m still debating on whether or not I’ll be getting Natalie’s latest. ALL THE BOOKS AND NO TIME! 🙁
It’ll be my first by her, Tonyalee, and I can’t wait to get started! You are completely right, though… books vs time is always an impossible equation!
I have not read a JA Huss book yet but I’ve heard good things about her (if it is a her) stories. That’s a nice haul!
Yes, Leona, it is a her – and her stories are great. Dark, twisty, romantic suspense (most of them).
Awesome haul of books. I see quite a few that look great. I hope you love all of your new books.
Thanks, Grace 🙂 I agree, they look awesome!
Allegiance of Honor was all over my twitter feed this past week. Sounds fun!
