The Consequence of Loving Colton almost reads like a parody of NA romance, anything that can go wrong goes wrong, there are shenanigans and out there characters, and still, there’s some hotness and tension as well. I think I might have enjoyed The Consequence of Loving Colton more if it had been labeled as a parody, because I’m all for making fun of genres – even my favorite genres. However, this was really out there, and there was no real plot or story, just a whole lot of weird and sometimes very funny situations happening. Darker and more twisted than Angelfall, World After took me into a very strange universe, in which Penryn had to prove herself again and again. My World After review: World After has a very different feel to it than Angelfall, too, whereas there was desperation and fights, as well as hope in Angelfall, here, the desperation is darker and has a deadly edge to it.
