Review: Play Me Hot – Tracy Wolff

Review: Play Me Hot – Tracy Wolff

Play Me Hot is definitely hot! It also shows a side to both Aria and Sebastian that was different from Play Me Wild. My Play Me Hot review: Sebastian has quickly become a little obsessed with Aria, even if he had promised himself that he would take things slow. Play Me Hot starts wit some very hot sex in his office, and he helps her experience something she’s never even dreamed of before. She always knew she would enjoy someone else taking completely charge, maybe even hurting her a little in the process. However, Sebastian’s control is so strong he manages to push her a lot farther much faster than he had anticipated. He hadn’t quite anticipated just how far he […]

Review: Play Me: Wild – Tracy Wolff

Review: Play Me: Wild – Tracy Wolff

Play me Wild is the first installment in a hot serial about Cole and Aria, and I really enjoyed how Aria was willing to stand up for what was right, even at the cost of her job! My Play Me Wild review: Aria was trying everything she could to stay in control of her life, and it was easy to see that something has happened to her in the past to make her crave solitude and control right now. When a customer at the casino where she works starts to harass a customer, and neither the security guard, nor the dealer are willing to help, Aria steps up. And ends up losing her job. Play Me Wild showed me right […]

Review: Croc and the Fox – Eve Langlais

Review: Croc and the Fox – Eve Langlais

Croc and the Fox is filled with humor, some shifter fights, the ongoing mystery of the Mastermind, and lots of hot chemistry! My Croc and the Fox review: As always when I read a Langlais erotica, Croc and the Fox filled me with delight, good laughs, many hot moments and funny characters to follow on their adventures. I had already enjoyed Viktor and his bachelor ways in prior FUC stories, and he didn’t disappoint here. However, he hadn’t counted on actually enjoying Renee and her clinging ways quite as much as he ended up doing. One of the things I enjoyed was that the mystery of the evil Mastermind – a shifter who kidnaps other shifters to experiment on them […]

Review: Like – J.A. Huss

Review: Like – J.A. Huss

In Like, the readers get to know both Grace and Vaughn a little better… but those little crumbs just made me want much, much more! My Like review: Like shows just how far Vaughn is willing to go in order to make sure Grace will play along with him. From filling up her Starbucks card with more money than she earns in a year, to chatting with her on Twitter, and phoning her for some dirty talk and phone sex… It also gave me a new appreciation for both Vaughn and Grace. And while I still don’t exactly like Vaughn yet, I certainly am starting to see the appeal he has had for Grace these past years. Written in one […]

Review: Follow – J.A. Huss

Review: Follow – J.A. Huss

Follow is the first installment in Huss’ new serial Social Media. Hot, with a dominant male and a submissive who doesn’t know yet that she is, and a tropical island, it is very different from other contemporary stories I’ve read. My Follow review: Follow is Grace and Vaughn’s story, Grace has been lusting after this movie-star for years, and she even has a twitter group where she uses hashtags and sexual innuendos in 140 characters to show her online friends how she feels about him. When she goes on vacation in St. Thomas with her best friend, she ends up meeting Vaughn for real, and she has no idea what to do when her fantasy and her reality become a […]

Review: Sweet Surrendering – Chelsea M. Cameron

Review: Sweet Surrendering – Chelsea M. Cameron

*I received a free ARC of Sweet Surrendering from All Night Reads via Netgalley in exchange of an honest review* Sweet Surrendering is hot, intriguing and filled with humor and great friendships! My Sweet Surrendering review: I’m not normally a huge fan of office romances, but I have enjoyed several of Ms. Cameron’s contemporary romance novels in the past, so I figured I’d give Sweet Surrendering a try. And I’m really happy I did! Rory is an awesome heroine, funny, intelligent, confident, sexy and embracing the power she has as vice president of her company. Lucas is great, too, with all his secrets, his chin-dimple, his sexy wink and the way he works hard to make Rory’s life a little […]

Blogtour and Review: The Replacement – Rachael Wade

Blogtour and Review: The Replacement – Rachael Wade

Welcome to my stop on The Replacement / The Prisoner blogtour. I have the tour-wide giveaway (US only – sorry!) to share with you, as well as my review and my favorite quotes. This tour is hosted by Xpresso Booktours, and if you click on the banner above, you’ll be taken to the full tour schedule if you want to check out other stops. My The Replacement review: Quite different from the stories I normally read, The Replacement captivated me – in the beginning it was because I really couldn’t stand Elise. She is the epitome of ‘the other woman’ she seeks out men who are already in a relationship, and uses all she has at her disposal to get […]

Review: Rock Addiction (Rock Kiss #1) – Nalini Singh

Review: Rock Addiction (Rock Kiss #1) – Nalini Singh

*I received a free ARC of Rock Addiction from TKA Distribution via Netgalley in exchange of an honest review* New adult scorching hot erotica, that’s Rock Addiction in a nut-shell. My Rock Addiction review: I had trouble getting int Rock Addiction at the beginning of the story, and I have to admit I rolled my eyes a little bit. Molly is a 24-year-old virgin. And those who know my blog know that this is a pet-peeve of mine, right? Why is she a virgin? And why, oh why would she decide that her first time would be with a mega rock-star, while at the same time almost having a panic attack at the thought of paparazzi? And how could he make […]

Review: Come Back – J.A. Huss

Review: Come Back – J.A. Huss

Come Back took me totally by surprise, especially because Come didn’t completely do it for me. Harper and James are separated at the beginning of the story, because James has to pick up a ‘package’. And that ‘package’ turns out to be a person – Sasha whom I met in Slack. She’s a firecracker of a kid, and I love her. It was truly awesome to meet her again. Her snarky humor, all that knowledge – both secrets she shouldn’t really know, and the fact that she’s a great shooter – makes her a really good character to have on your side. My Come Back review: Who is on whose side? That’s a question I kept asking myself while reading […]

Review: Come – J.A. Huss

Review: Come – J.A. Huss

Come is a dark, fast-paced and addictive read, in which Harper has to make some decisions about trust and her future. My Come review: Come is set in the same universe as the Rook & Ronin series, and the spin-off. Most of the characters are new, which makes things exciting, while at the same time because the world is familiar, it makes it easier to get to know them. I really enjoyed Harper in Come. She has been on the run for almost a year, and it takes quite a while to realize why she’s on the run, and who exactly it is she’s running from. She has gotten so good at feeling invisible that when a guy approaches her […]
