Kaleidoscope had some beautiful metaphors, but Emme and Deck didn’t wow me as much as other Colorado Mountain couples have. The main thing that made Kaleidoscope less enjoyable to me was that in many ways, Emme was just too high strung and high maintenance for me. I did get why at the very end, but by that time, I didn’t care that much anymore. Hard Justice had all the romance, suspense, friendship, hotness and action I have come to love in Foster’s novels! Both Justice and Fallon were characters I enjoyed from when I first met them in Hard Justice. Fallon was a heroine who could have been impossible to enjoy or relate to, but even with her sheltered life and the tragedy in her past, she was a positive, strong character I loved more with each page.
