This story takes place two months after the end of The Siren, the summer between The Siren and The Angel.
When Søren proposed to do something nice for Nora, something of her choice, she should have realized that what he'd ask for in return might not be exactly 'nice' for her...
Story available for free to subscribers of Tiffany Reisz's newsletter only.
Something Nice gives Søren and Nora’s fans a glimpse into 24 hours in their life. A glimpse that shows almost the full rainbow of their feelings for each other, all the love, the fear, the hate, the generosity… It’s really all there.
Something Nice is a way for Reisz to give back to her readers! A free story about Søren and Nora; it was like Christmas in July. And it fulfilled a craving I didn’t even know was there until I started reading. As always, it is a treat to be part of the intimate relationship between the two protagonists, and I just sighed with pleasure at this story – it started out extremely hot and heavy… and ended on a light, sweet and actually very nice note. Søren showed a side of him he very seldom lets out, and that made me feel privileged to spend a day in his and Nora’s company.
Written in third person past tense, from Nora’s point of view, fans of the Original Sinners series spend a day at a church picnic with Nora, Søren and the whole Sacred Hear congregation. And while Nora felt out of her element at first, she also realised she needed this fellowship more than she had imagined.
Why they couldn’t have church at the Maywood farm every Sunday was beyond little Eleanor Schreiber’s ken. Seemed like a great way to up church attendance.
After Nora had gotten arrested at fifteen, Mrs. Maywood had stopped by the house and given Nora a hug, told her it would be all right, that everyone made mistakes when they were young, and God would take care of her fir she would let Him. Nora had agreed with her. Søren had already promised to take care of her. They’d already made their deal. And back then Søren and God were nearly interchangeable to her.
But here, she didn’t know who she was here. Eleanor? Nora? Ellie? Someone else? Someone she hadn’t met before? Someone new? Or someone she’d forgotten how to be?

I’ve had The Siren for a while, but the hype made me to not want to read it after I downloaded it. I’ll probably give it a go soon, so I hope I love it. Great review!
I was holding off on this series for a long time, I was a bit scared of the BDSM elements, to tell you the truth. And while there are BDSM elements very present, there is SO much more to it! I am all excited to know you’ll be able to start it soon, Lekeisha.
I don’t know the series, but I’m glad to hear this was an enjoyable read for you! It’s nice to get a little extra of characters or a particular story sometimes.
Yeah, getting a little extra about characters I adore is a true treat, Lauren.
