Things are finally looking up for Nathan and Lila. Though separated at work, their life together is just beginning.

They’re working hard to lock up Lila’s past, when Nathan’s comes knocking at the door with a gift—a warning that happiness can, and will, be taken away.

Is running away the only option to stay alive? Can they ever find the peace they deserve?

The battle for survival has begun.

Yes! In Reciprocity, Nathan and his “beast” were back in this final installment and that made for an intense and entertaining read!

But lest you think it was all about Nathan, I have to say how much I adored seeing how Lila changed – blossomed – as she healed. Her self-confidence grew and seeing her stand up for herself, in most cases, was inspiring.

Reciprocity, being the finale of Nathan’s and Lila’s story, sees them enduring a few more obstacles. These particular hurdles could have life altering consequences but Nathan and Lila are stronger, especially together, and they’re out to prove they can weather any storm.

Ms. Lynn gave us a treat in getting both Lila’s and Nathan’s POV for this installment. I can’t express enough how exciting it was getting to be in Nathan’s head once again.

There was quite a bit going on and one of the plot threads ended a bit too dramatically for my tastes but I’ll admit to feeling anxious over the outcome. But I think the best part of the story is having witnessed the changes in both Nathan and Lila. They both were truly lost, barely existing, until they came into each other’s lives. And seeing them come out of their shells and be happy – really live – because of their love was a treat. It wasn’t always pretty but it was them and it was worth the ride.
