It’s Monday! What are you Reading?

Welcome to It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? This is a meme hosted by Sheila @ Book Journey and I  think it is great to start the week with what I’m reading right this minute, and what I’ll be reading (or planning on reading, anyway) for the rest of the week.

Please visit Sheila’s blog to sign up on her linky, and just know that every week, a lucky winner is drawn from the bloggers or posters (no need to even have a blog) who comment on at least ten posts in the It’s Monday meme. The winner gets a $5 Amazon gift card. How awesome is that?

Last week, I was on vacation, and I actually got time to read quite a bit, mostly, I really enjoyed my reads as well 🙂

gameboard of the gods (un)Conventional Bookviews

I read Gameboard of the Gods by Richelle Mead, my review will be up closer to release date. I enjoyed this quite a bit, but I wasn’t completely blown away by it. Maybe partly because I could guess several things, and because my mythology knowledge wouldn’t let the narrator fool me.

twice tempted (un)Conventional BookviewsI loved Twice Tempted by Jeaniene Frost, Vlad is a funny vampire, and Leila just cracked me up! There was a lot of action, and some hot scenes as well. This was definitely a 5 star read for me! I am writing my review now – it should be up by next week.

clockwork princess (un)Conventional BookviewsClockwork Princess was a good finale to the Infernal Devices trilogy. I give it 4 stars, my review should be up soon. I thought the final resolution was a little ‘too easy’ but I guess it was an attempt to make all the readers happy.

lover at last (un)Conventional BookviewsLover at Last was really hot, I loved it, and how the relationships developed in this instalment of the Black Dagger Brotherhood series. My review will be up later this week.

The Best Man (un)Conventional BookviewsRight now, I am about to start The Best Man by Kristan Higgins. I love reading a contemporary romance every now and then, and I hope this one will give me some enjoyment.

After that, I’m not sure what I want to read – I have about 200 books already in my kindle, and I truly don’t know where to start! But I might just update this post once I figure it out.

What about you? What are you reading this week? Did you enjoy the last week’s reads? Thanks for stopping by – have a fantastic week!

    • Hi Tanya 🙂 thanks for stopping by! I have only read one Kristan Higgins novel so far, but I love her hot pictures on FB of what she thinks her heroes look like 😀

Clockwork Princess is YA, in the same world as The Mortal Instruments series.

    • I’m sorry you’re in a reading rut 🙁 I just got over my review rut – and finally started writing some reviews again this week. I still have a few more to go, though.

  1. This week I am reading The Hero of Ages by Brandon Sanderson. I am getting near to the end of it, it is the last in a trilogy I entirely found by chance. I am also reading Brotherband Chronicles: The Hunters by John Flanagan. Both of these books are great, I have a job interview on Wednesday and after that I will be ordering Clockwork Princess and With All My Soul by Rachel Vincent so I’ll have two books that signify the end of their respective series, so many feelings.

Also thanks for visiting my blog and commenting on my The Indigo Spell Review.

    • Clockwork Princess was good, and I look forward to With All My Soul, but at the same time, I don’t want to read it because I don’t want the series to end…

      Thanks for stopping by today!

    • I think we all have weeks like that, Laurie 🙂 Don’t worry about it – and don’t be embarrassed either. Real life is happening, too.
