Feature and Follow Friday #99

YAY it’s Friday! Gain new followers and make new friends with the Book Blogger Feature and Follow! If this is your first time here, welcome! You are about to make some new friends and gain new followers — but you have to know — the point of this hop is to follow other bloggers also. I follow you, you follow me.The Feature and Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Rachel of Parajunkee’s View and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it’ll allow us to meet more new bloggers!

This week’s question really comes in handy for me 😉

Have you come up with any special memes or features on your blog that you’d like people to visit more?

I actually do have a special meme / feature I’d love to have more people visiting and linking up to. I started the Thirsty Thursday & Hungry Hearts in January, because I love to see what my favorite characters eat or drink… And sometimes I wish I could have a recipe for what they’re having, while other times I’m pretty much grossed out. If you want to check it out, here is a list of my posts so far :

If you think this is something that could work for you, please don’t hesitate to participate! This week’s post is live 😉

Thanks for stopping by today, have a fantastic Friday and a wonderful weekend.

  1. What an interesting take on a book meme! Ha ha ha! I’m going to look into it for sure Lexxie, next time I pick up my book, I will need to take note of what my characters are eating ha ha! 😛

    • I don’t know why, but I always notice when the characters are eating or drinking either something yummy or something really gross 🙂

    • Thanks Kirsty 🙂 I need to check your Male Monday, because even if I haven’t read a lot of M/M books, I have read a few, and I have several more on my kindle 🙂

  2. TGIF Lexxie!!! I think your Thirsty Thursday & Hungry Hearts is awesome b/c I love food. *snorts* Tricia, one of the very fab reviewers does a weekly bookish topic. Sometimes it’s about bookish arts/crafts, book to movie news or just a general questions about books. I’m working on trying to make the blog a little more interesting… 🙂

    • Happy Friday to you, too, Cristina! I love food too, that might be why I’ve been picking up on what characters are eating and drinking – and how I came up with the meme 🙂

  3. Welp, this is quite a different take on memes, lol. This is the first time I’ve seen a meme like this! Really cool. I’m gonna have to start highlighting food stuff so I can participate next time! 😀

And I thought I was already following you since I’ve been checking out your blog before, but it turns out I wasn’t, which is weird, lol. Anyway, followed you via Bloglovin! xx

    • It took me a long time to come up with my own meme, Lizzie. But I kept noticing food and drinks in the stories I read and it suddenly occurred to me that this could be shared like a meme 🙂

    • If you aren’t able to find anything that’s OK, Stormi. I’ve been noticing food for so long, I guess I’m almost always hungry 😉

  4. I feel so left out because I never find any exciting food mentions in any of my books. It’s almost as if my characters just never eat lol. One of these days I will participate though Lexxie! I’m determined 🙂

  5. I still haven’t joined your meme as the last few weeks have been hectic and I already have a post on Thursday and I prefer to only have one post each day. Maybe once things calm down I can schedule a few posts ahead. I also must remember to write down books when food is mentioned.
My most recent new feature is Lola’s KItchen, although I am happy with the comments I got so far I still would like to see more people join in and actuall try the recipes.

    • I completely understand, Lola. If I have two posts on the same day, I try to make it a meme and a review, not two memes / features.
I love Lola’s Kitchen, even if I haven’t been able to try any of your recipes yet.
