Feature and Follow #71 – Spine Poetry de Luxe
YAY it’s Friday! Gain new followers and make new friends with the Book Blogger Feature and Follow! If this is your first time here, welcome! You are about to make some new friends and gain new followers — but you have to know — the point of this hop is to follow other bloggers also. I follow you, you follow me.The Feature and Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Rachel of Parajunkee’s View and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it’ll allow us to meet more new bloggers!
What sets this Hop apart from others, is that our hosts feature two blogs. Every week they will each showcase a Featured Blogger, from all different genres and areas. Just remember it is required, if you participate, to follow both their featured as well as our lovely hosts as a courtesy. How do you follow someone? Well, if you have a preference, state it in your Feature and follow post. I prefer being followed via e-mail, RSS / Bloglovin’ or Google+; but you can also like my Facebook page, or even follow me on Twitter.
This week, Feature and Follow ask us to do an activity, and so here I present you with my exclusive spine poetry:
The French Lieutenant’s Woman
Dare You To
Shiver
East of Eden
The Exile
Until You
Thanks for stopping by today, have a fantastic Friday and a wonderful weekend.
I love it! I was thinking of a way to use The Exile too. (Didn’t end up in mine though.) Hope you have a great weekend! 🙂
~Pam @ Moonlight Reader
I love these kinds of challenges, so much fun to read everybody’s poems.
Thanks for stopping by.
Great job with the spine poetry! I don’t have very many physical books, so I always struggle with this type of challenge.
I know what you mean, Pamela, because I don’t own many physical books anymore either, It’s still a lot of fun, though.
Thanks for stopping by.
You’re really are quite the poet, Lexxie! I love your poem.
I hope you have a fabulous Friday, my friend. And a fabulous trip! 😉 *BIG HUGS*
Thank you Brandee 🙂 I love challenges like this! Thanks for stopping by 🙂 I’ll try to be online a little bit, but my priorities are that hockey game and lots of hugging for this weekend 😀
Nice job. I used one of Katie McGarry’s books too.
Happy Friday
My FF @ Marilyn’s Mystery Blog
Yay for Katie McGarry!
Thanks for stopping by, Marilyn.
Ooh nice! Guess I shouldn’t have “added” words to my poem, but oh well!

I am not really good at this type of things so I am bowing out of FF this week. I might go and check out others though..lol.
Yeah, I have bowed out every now and then, too, Stormi 🙂 Thanks for stopping by!
And a happy Friday to you too! 🙂 Nice job with the spines!
Here’s my less-than stellar attempt. Consider yourself followed. 🙂
Thanks Alice 🙂
Love your spine poetry.
I have two of those titles and am familiar with two more. 🙂
Thank you Xyra 🙂 This is always a lot of fun.
I love the pictures of the stacked books as much as the poems people are creating. What a closing line. Great poem, Lexxie! I hope you have an excellent weekend.
I agree, Robyn, stacked books always make for beautiful pictures. Thanks for stopping by.
Awesome spine poem! See, you’re a poet and you didn’t know it. You can rhyme anytime. Okay, I’m done. Have a great weekend! 😀
LOL Liesel 🙂 Thank you!
Lexxie, this is so brilliant. I might have to do this just for fun on BL one day! You are a poet and don’t know it!
Yes, this is definitely a lot of fun, Lyn 🙂 Thanks for stopping by!
Love it! This was a super fun activity. I’ve never done one like this before and probably could have made like ten more, lol. I wish I had Shiver to use! The titles you used go well together. 🙂 Awesome poem, Lexxie!
