Feature and Follow #27 – paranormal for real?

Posted 11 January, 2013 by Linda @ (un)Conventional Bookworms in Feature and Follow / 0 Comments

Feature and FollowYAY it’s Friday!

Gain new followers and make new friends with the Book Blogger Feature and Follow! If this is your first time here, welcome! You are about to make some new friends and gain new followers — but you have to know — the point of this hop is to follow other bloggers also. I follow you, you follow me.

The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of Parajunkee’s View and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it’ll allow us to meet more new bloggers!

What sets this Hop apart from others, is that our hosts feature two blogs. Every week they will each showcase a Featured Blogger, from all different genres and areas. Just remember it is required, if you participate, to follow both their featured as well as our lovely hosts as a courtesy. How do you follow someone? Well, if you have a preference, state it in your #FF post. I prefer being followed via Linky, Google+ or if you’d like my facebook page. If you prefer e-mail or RSS, that’s good as well

As you can imagine, this is a great way to get to know your fellow bloggers better, as well as a way to find new blogs, and be seen by more people yourself.

Now on to this week’s question:

If you could choose one supernatural being/creature to really exist what would it be and why?

This is actually not as easy as it sounds. I want to answer vampires in a way, even if they eat humans, because they also carry with them the promise of eternal life for some of us. Then I thought who wants eternal life, anyway? The fae are almost worse than the vampires, because they are so tricky, but they are so pretty! I could live with fairies if there weren’t too many of them, maybe?

But I think I’m quite happy that there are no paranormal beings living beside us (that we know of anyway;) ).

Have a fantastic Friday and a wonderful weekend! Thanks for stopping by.

    • Yeah, I had to put that comment in there, because in so many of the PNR books I read, it says something about the protagonists laughing because humans think they don’t exist for real…

Thanks for stopping by Jessica 🙂

Ya I was kind of thinking the same way. Even with witches there would be bad ones and Angels there could be fallen angels like the hush hush series. So I guess we are better without them…maybe.

thanks for stopping by my blog

    • Yes, I think all of the paranormals I have ever read about can be very scary, even when they try to not kill humans all the time 🙂

    • I agree, they are so pretty I could just spend my time watching them and drinking fairy-wine 😀

      Thanks for stopping by Nina!

  2. I’d love eternal life. Just because I would never run out of time and it would be so interesting to watch human progression. But if I died at the hands (or would that be mouth?) of a vampire, I think I’d have a moment of pure surprise and elation that they actually existed. It would suck to die, but I mean, it’s kind of a cool way, I suppose! LOL
I love your answer, though! I agree, the fae are entirely too tricky for me.

    • Yeah, I can’t even begin to imagine if I was a vampire and the rest of my family was human, I would be too sad!

Thanks for stopping by Jaclyn 🙂

    • In some ways, I’d love to meet some fangtastic beings myself 🙂 I did have a good weekend, thank you, I hope yours was great as well!

  3. Hey Lexxie, I like your answer…I prefer none, but if I HAD to choose, the vamps could be tolerable as long as they don’t eat me or turn me! LOL. Sorry it took me so long to stop over, it’s been a crazy busy week. 🙂
