COYER Summer Vacation Wrap-Up

I can’t believe it’s over already! I mean, really? Where oh where did summer go? I felt like I would have so much time to clean out my e-reader with this challenge being so much longer than usual, too. I did quite well, though, I have posted 40 COYER reviews during this period, and I have read some more books that were already on my kindle when I started this challenge, but my reviews are scheduled for later, as I had so many things going on this summer.

I want to say a huge thank you to Berls over at Fantasy is More Fun and Michelle over at Because Reading is Better than Real Life for hosting this amazing challenge once more. I’ve had fun hanging out in the Facebook group they’ve created this time around, and I’ve read so many awesome reviews – and subsequently added even more books to my TBR shelves πŸ™‚ But that’s part of the joys of being a blogger, right?

I’m only posting links to my COYER reviews here, because if I add descriptions and book covers, this post is going to be so huge it’s going to take forever to write it for me, and to read for you πŸ˜‰

I have been too lazy to make this list in chronological order – but the links go straight to my review if you want to check it out:

  1. Dissonance
  2. In Deep
  3. Vibrant Food
  4. You Own Me
  5. Rules of Survival
  6. The Cowboy Rescues a Bride
  7. Confessions of a Royal Bridegroom
  8. Hunter By Night
  9. Dash of Peril
  10. No Boundaries
  11. Come
  12. Dark Skye
  13. I Want it That Way
  14. No Limits
  15. The Soldier’s E-Mail Order Bride
  16. No Apologies
  17. What a Lady Craves
  18. Deep in Death
  19. Come Back
  20. How the Scoundrel Seduces
  21. Unholy Ghosts
  22. Gluten-Free Family Favorites
  23. All Fall Down
  24. Fix You: Bash and Olivia Book 1
  25. Resisting the Musician
  26. Crystal Magic
  27. Gypsy
  28. A SEAL’s Fantasy
  29. Wedding at Cardwell Ranch
  30. Rites of Passage
  31. The Geography of You and Me
  32. The Navy SEAL’s E-Mail Order Bride
  33. Lockstep
  34. Dirty Wings
  35. Rain
  36. Stripped Away
  37. Dead Beautiful
  38. Fanning the Flames
  39. It’s In His Kiss
  40. Rock Addiction

Yeah, that was a lot of books that I could add for this challenge, and I’m happy to say that there are more books that I’ve read, but haven’t posted reviews for yet, so this is a total win as far as I’m concerned *wonders if it’s a good idea to add several more books to the kindle now*

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you’ve had as much fun with the COYER Summer Vacay challenge as I have. Now, I’m getting ready to start classes again in just ten days, so I probably won’t be able to keep up reading as many books or writing as many reviews as I could during this.

  1. Next time I am keeping better track of what I read so that I don’t have to go through my blog and find the reviews..I didn’t do a wrap up cause I didn’t want to mess with it..lol. I got lazy. πŸ™‚

Have a great rest the weekend and into the week!

    • It took me forever, Stormi! Even if I had done some update posts… Oh well πŸ™‚ Next time, I need to label my reviews better πŸ™‚

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great week yourself.

  2. Ugh. You are embarrassing me, Lexxie! You’ve read and review more than 40 books from Jun 21-Sept 5??? OMG! How did you do it? I swear, I’ve only read 10-15 books during that period. Are you not sleeping at all? I swear, I’m reading as fast as I can but my progress is awfully slow. Hahahaha.

I am really proud of your achievement, friend!<3333 I am sure that your Kindle is 95% cleaned out.

Have a fun weekend with your family! <333

    • Charlotte! Don’t be embarrassed, please. And please remember that I have been off from classes since the middle of June, and won’t start again for another ten days. On top of all that time off, I am a very fast reader, too.

And my kindle is very far from cleaned out, actually. Plus, you gave me a great idea for a discussion post because of that comment πŸ™‚

I hope you’ve had a great weekend. Have a fantastic week.

  3. Woot! You did amazing!! I only reviewed 29 and have like 3/4 more books that the reviews are coming later. I don’t know how y’all knock out so many books! I’m so glad you joined us again, it was fun and we’re already working on plans for the next one πŸ™‚

    • Berls, I didn’t work nor have classes during the whole time of the challenge, so I had it easy πŸ™‚
And I also have quite a few books I read during this period, but where my reviews will be posted later.
YAY for a next COYER challenge, Berls πŸ™‚ These are so much fun! Thanks again for planning and keeping up with mini-challenges in the FB group.

  4. Wow you read a lot of books, twice as many as I did and cheated and read quite some novella’s. This was my first time participating in Coyer and I had so much fun, the facebook group was nice as well, although I did miss all the twitter chats.

    • Yeah, I did read a lot of books, but I had time off for the duration of the challenge. I’m glad you had fun with the COYER, Lola, I hope you’ll participate next time as well.
I missed the twitter chats, too, I usually forget there is something going on over there.

  5. Reading never actually feels like work, though, Lindy πŸ˜‰ But thank you! It’s so nice to see you – I hope you’ve had an awesome summer.

  6. You are freaking amazing! Great job! I am terrible at writing reviews in the summer because my kids are home and it’s so dang noisy! I also need to get in on this challenge next summer! I love these kinds of things to keep me motivated and I tend to read more. I always find them after the fact. *sigh* πŸ™‚

I hope you have a great week in front of you!
