2015 Challenges – Update Post #1

2015 Challenges – Update Post #1

I am participating in several challenges for 2015, and instead of doing one update post per challenge, I am just including them all in one post right here. 2015 Challenges Update Post #1 The 2015 New Release Challenge is hosted by myself and Stormi @ Books, Movies, Reviews! Oh My! We both read ARCs, and there are also books just being released this year that we are incapable of resisting, so motivating ourselves and each other to read and review new releases seemed like a great idea to us. Because I read over 140 books released in 2014 last year, I am aiming for 75 for this year. Here are the books I’ve read so far for the 2015 New […]

2015 New Release Challenge

2015 New Release Challenge The 2015 New Release Challenge is a year-long challenge in which we aim to read books released in 2015.  I am lucky enough to have an awesome co-host for the New Release Challenge, Stormi @ Books, Movies, Reviews Oh My! is here to share both the fun and the burden 😉 We have decided that there will be giveaways and linkups all through the year, as well as some read-a-thons and twitter parties to keep us motivated. In 2014, I read 150 ARCs, many of those were 2014 releases, but I also read quite a few of my favorite authors’ new releases, too, but there was no challenge to help cheer me on, make sure I wrote […]

Review: Home – J.A. Huss

Review: Home – J.A. Huss

Everything comes together perfectly in Home – in the very end! Both Vaughn and Grace still have some heartache to go through first, but they both step up to show how strong they are both as individual and as a couple! My Home review: Home makes the Social Media serial stay a roller coaster until the very end! Between doubts, very strong love, amazing characters and a story that made me feel out of breath, it truly brought the serial to a perfect ending. I was amazed by both Vaughn and Grace, even if I thought Grace did jump to conclusions at one point… The way Home folded out was so well done, and the dual point of views made […]

Let the COYER Begin!

COYER Winter Challenge 2014-2015 I’m pretty excited today, because today is the start of the new COYER challenge, and I love being able to clean out my e-reader as much as possible. I have created a COYER shelf on Goodreads, with all the books I can use for this challenge, and my, oh my do I have many books I am allowed to read between today and March 6th! I’m sure you all know our hosts, Michelle of Because Reading is Better than Real Life, and Berls of Fantasy is More Fun. I have linked to the sign-up posts on their blogs, in case you haven’t had a chance to do your own sign-up yet, or if you hadn’t decided […]

2015 Audiobook Challenge Sign-up

2015 Audiobook Challenge Sign-up

2015 Audiobook Challenge Sign-up I have decided to do yet another challenge for 2015 – it kind of ties in with my 2015 Bookish Resolutions Challenge, and with my 2015 HW Challenge, so I figured why not? I own lots of audiobooks, but I’m not always so good at actually listening to those books. I have found a few narrators lately that I have really enjoyed, and so I thought that a challenge was just what I needed. The 2015 Audiobook Challenge is hosted by The Book Nympho and Hot Listens, here are the rules to follow if you decide to sign up as well: Runs January 1, 2015 – December 31, 2015. You can join at anytime. The goal […]

Bookish Resolutions for 2015

2015 Resolutions Challenge As we start a new year, Laura of Trips Down Imagination Road and Michelle of Because Reading is Better than Real Life are hosting a different kind of challenge for 2015. The jist of it is to share between two and five things you want to do more / better on your blog, or something you want to change of start doing in 2015. Here are the official rules: Create between 1 and 5 resolutions related to books/book blogging (there are examples in Laura’s post but you can make up your own)  If you have 2 or more resolutions than 1 can be unrelated to books/book blogging 3. 2014 TBR Pile Challenge Wrap-up

2014 TBR Pile Challenge Wrap-up

2014 TBR Pile Challenge I signed up for this challenge in January of 2014, and then, I more or less forgot about it :O I have read some of the books that were already in my pile before 2013, though, and so I figured I might as well do a whole year wrap-up post, even if I haven’t done the monthly posts at all. You can check out the rules and other posts about the 2014 TBR Pile Challenge over at Bookish, who is hosting it. I read the following books released before 2014, and I reviewed some of them. I can see a pattern where I am not as good at reviewing books I own as I am […]
