Socialite Lindsey Vanessen wants someone to love who will love him back — an impossibility for a gay, half-human, half-werewolf. Too aggressive for humans, too gay for wolves, and needing to protect the pack from human discovery, Lindsey tries to content himself with life as a successful businessman. But when someone starts kidnapping members of wealthy families, Lindsey meets tough cop Seth Zakowsy—the hunky embodiment of everything Lindsey wants but can't have.
Seth has never been attracted to flamboyant men. What would the guys in the department think of Lindsey? But intrigue turns to lust when he discovers Lindsey’s biting, snarling passion more than matches his dominant side. It might mean a chance at love for a cop in black leather and a wolf in Gucci loafers.
*I received a free ARC of Wolf in Gucci Loafers from Enchantress of Books Blogtours in exchange of an honest review*
Wolf in Gucci Loafers is exciting, filled with tension, and the characters involved are very easy to like – at least the good guys are. I already enjoyed Lindsey a lot in The Pack or the Panther, and here, in his own story, he truly shines! I love his personality, and his quirkiness. He’s a rich heir, but that’s not what is important about him, he spends quite a bit of money on himself, clothes and cars mostly, but he also uses his riches to help those who are less fortunate than him.
The way Lindsey deals with his personal life in Wolf in Gucci Loafers is pretty awesome, because he has to make sure the pack will be safe, but since he himself is half human, half shifter, it’s difficult for him. Not taken completely seriously by the wolves, he really doesn’t think he’ll find a mate among them, and he’s too strong for most human guys. That is until he meets Seth. He is attracted by the cop as soon as he catches a whiff of him, but he doesn’t think they’ll ever meet again. And Lindsay is also on a date his mom set up for him with a young guy named Bruce, who’s just back home from college, and whose father is a friend of the family.
When people from Lindsey’s country club are being kidnapped, he feels like he should help out some way, our Wolf in Gucci Loafers has a very big heart! And he gets a chance to help sooner than he would have liked, when the governor’s daughter is kidnapped. As Dave is a good friend both of Lindsey’s and of the pack, and Lindsey figures out something is wrong, he goes with Dave when he received a call from the kidnappers. And the officer in charge of the investigation is none other than Seth, Mr. Yummy from the parking lot.
Wolf in Gucci Loafers is quite fast paced, and the story is very well told. Lindsey is an awesome character, he is multi-faceted and very likable. As he is big and strong, he goes pretty far in his quest to be a savior, and there are some very humorous scenes when his in super-granny mode. Of course, that also causes him some trouble, but he’s pretty good at dealing with that as well. The budding romance between Lindsey and Seth is mesmerizing, and all through the story, I was rooting for them.

“Don’t worry. You won’t. Drive.”
“Okay.” He hit the accelerator. Holy shit. Instant speed. No rumble, no roar, no lag or leaping ahead. Just zero to infinity with a touch.
“Wow. This is freaky!”
“Fun, isn’t it?”
“Give me directions.”
“Okay. Pull down your fly. “What?” He glanced over, but Lindsey’s face was not smiling—intense, actually. “You want directions? You got them. Pull out your cock!”
He swallowed but reached down and pulled the zipper on his very crowded trousers. This sounded promising.
“Get it out!”
“Okay, okay.”
He reached in, grabbed his leaking rod, and pulled it from its prison. Man, just rubbing on his briefs was almost too much. That was one sensitive cock. The thing stuck up out of his fly like a puppet.
“Pull the balls out too. I like balls.”
Seth chuckled. “Your wish is my command.” He flopped his balls out of the fly. They were already so tight they barely bobbled.
“Very, very pretty. Definitely Connecticut’s finest. Can I lick them?”
“Shit, feel free.”
“Drive carefully. Keep your eyes on the road.”
Lindsey laughed. Only a small space and a brake lever separated the two seats. Lindsey leaned over, insinuated his head into Seth’s lap and breathed. Oh man, hot breath warmed the tip of his dick.
“He seems glad to see me.”
Seth could barely breathe, much less talk. Lindsey swallowed the thing whole. Sheeee-it! Heat flashed through Seth’s balls and up his spine like he’d been shot. The car swerved. Damn. He gripped the wheel and slowed down. Lindsey’s lips popped off.
“This is your driver training course. All gay cops must drive while receiving head.”
He shoved Seth’s dick back in his mouth and sucked. Oh God. His hips bobbed. Fuck. Fuck. His knuckles on the wheel were white, but he didn’t want to give up and stop. The speed and sucking went together like peanut butter and jelly. The quiet in the car was punctuated by low growling sounds coming from the suckfest in his lap. What was up with the guy? But man, the sounds were right on the money. He felt like a fucking animal.
His balls tightened further and tingling tickled at the base of his spine. “Lindsey, I’m going to come. I gotta stop. I’ll wreck the car.” [/dropshadowbox]
“Lindsey.” his mother’s voice came from behind him. He turned. “Hello, Mother. You arrived just in time to save Rolf’s life.” He crossed to the door of the huge indoor gym and kissed her pretty, pink cheek. “Are you torturing Rolf again?” Rolf stood and tossed the empty water bottle. “Yes, ma’am, he is. But I’m going to tuck my tail between my legs and leave.”
Bruce sipped. “How does your family feel about you being gay?” Lindsey shrugged. “I’ve been very lucky. They’ve always accepted me. But then, they guessed I was gay somewhere around my third birthday, so it was no big surprise.”
“Now, we just have to catch these damned criminals before they strike again.” Lindsey glanced at the screen. “Actually, I wanted to ask you a special favor in that regard. Seth Zakowsky feels there may be more clues to be had among the wealthy families. These people could know more than they even realize. But Seth would just be seen as a policeman if he shows up at the country club. It could make a big difference if you’d introduce him around. You know, as a friend?”
Lindsey smiled. He was scared to breathe. How could things possibly be going this well for him? Of course, he had sex to maneuver once again. He’d been okay outdoors, where the event was kind of raw to begin with. In his suite, not so much. H didn’t want his bedroom to end up looking like a scene from Twilight.
