2015 TBR Pile Reading Challenge
The challenge will run from January 1, 2015 – December 31, 2015. The sign up link below will remain open until January 16, 2015 at 11:30am. It is hosted by Bookish, and you can sign up directly with them.
Anyone can enter! You don’t have to be a blogger, just as long as you review the book you’ve read. You can review on your book on your blog, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Goodreads, etc.
Any genre, length, or format of book counts as long as it is a book that’s been sitting on your self for some time. Short stories and novellas do count! The only stipulations that the book must have been released in 2014 or earlier. No 2015 ARCs or 2015 fresh-off-the-press releases allowed.
On the 25th of every other month there will be a wrap-up for the previous two months. These posts will be including linkys so you can link to your TBR Pile reviews. If you did not sign up by January 17, this is where you can sign up as well. To help us tackle our TBR mountain, there will be read-alongs on the months that have no wrap-ups. And there will also be some giveaways during the year.
Challenge levels:
1-10 A Firm Handshake
11-20 A Friendly Hug
21-30 First Kiss
31-40 Sweet Summer Fling
41-50 Could This Be Love?
50+ Married with Children
I’m going for the 50+ Married with Children level – because I have so, so many books on my kindle that are more or less crying for some love.
Oh my goodness, Lexxie! I want to do this challenge too since it fits so nicely with my other challenges. But I’m afraid. I’m afraid it’ll be too many challenges!! Can I do it??
**BIG HUGS**
It’s exactly because it fits so well with my other challenges that I’m doing this one as well, Brandee! With the HW challenge alone, I’ve already stated I’ll read 48 books, so that’s all of the books I need for this challenge, apart from two! *BIG HUGS*
This looks great! I probably won’t sign up, but will definitely try to hit at least the Sweet Summer Fling level. I have so very many books in my TBR pile mostly by my bed, but also in other locations of the house. The list would take me up to and beyond the Married with Children level (as I know your TBR list does), but I’m not sure I can get 50 in – I’m barely making 40 this year. Thank you for the news on the challenge!
YAY Xyra 🙂 I know how it is – good for me that I mostly have e-books, if not I’m not sure there would be enough room in the house for my family 🙂
Happy New Year!
Hahaha! Happy New Year!
Signing up for this one! Who doesn’t have a super long TBR list hahaha, I think I will be aiming for the 21-30 First Kiss level. Good luck for your goal, I’m sure you’ll get there (:
Yeah, those TBR lists are just too much sometimes. I have a very trigger-happy one-click finger, too, so I keep on adding and adding books to my own shelves all the time 🙂
Happy New Year, Shan!
Hmm, this sounds like a great challenge. A firm handshake might work. Best of luck. I look forward to your reviews! My TBR list would be a sad list without you wonderful book girls sharing your reads! Happy New Year, Lexxie!
Your poor TBR shelf, Robyn, but as you said, we gals are pretty good at pushing books your way 🙂
