I can’t come up with more than these 12, I don’t know why. But I really did it quickly, just like April asked. I think for me, it’s really important that it’s easy to read the content on a blog, I sometimes spend a very long time in front of the computer, and flashing lights make me tired for example.
Were you able to come up with 15 points for today’s challenge? I need to go find that linky so I can check it out, since I’m a few days late now… I’ve been feeling pretty lazy, it’s warm outside, the kids and I are all off from school, and we’re just chilling.

If a blog is easy to read that immediately calls my attention too.
Blogs that are too busy and have a million colours with those elaborate fonts just hurt my eyes and I can’t concentrate on posts.
Yeah, I get distracted too… I try to keep my own blog easy to navigate and easy on the eyes, but I know I sometimes just feel like adding a cool widget.

I am behind I haven’t posted in a day or two in regards to the challenge. 🙁 I agree with all of your points! 🙂 One thing I hate is pink funny font or a black background with yellow writing!! LOL I have seen them!
I was way behind as well, but I’ve written my challenge posts until Sunday and scheduled them – because tomorrow morning, I’m going to Paris for five days 😀
I’m also behind on reviews, though… I need to crunch some out today!

The blog being easy to read and nice on the eyes is definitely an important point. If a blog isn’t pleasant to look at you might not even finishing reading the post or feel tempted to comment, especially if it ends up hurting one’s eyes. Blah.
Friendliness and participation are also really important points. Same with original content. I always think it’s important to get to know the blogger behind the blog and be able to interact with them. 🙂

Great points, I think a nice layout is one of the most important things! I’m not really motivated to read a blog if it doesn’t look nice. 🙂
